So thankful to the Sett studios committee for running a space that has provided so much hope, community and fun for the past 5 years 🌟
I was introduced to Sett as part of a residency in 2023 thanks to @theforestarts which provided so much support and confidence for me- and since then it’s been a joy to interact with an artist run space that is genuinely inclusive and has hosted such a range of visual art, music, performance.
Boo to the landlords and lack of rent controls that are killing off cultural and community spaces,
Long live Sett! 💋

Settlement projects is a truly amazing place <3 filled with unique and curious objects that inspired the images for this drawing, especially their ephemera items, magazines and cassette tapes. Rlly honoured to be featured in the window of my favourite shop in Edinburgh 💔

Fiesta En El Vacío is the solo act of French/Argentinian singer and producer Luna Maria Cedrón.
She summons a number of Latin musicalities: occitan lyrics, flamenco, popular ballads from Venezuela meet here the new generations of
urban music: reggaeton rhythms and sharp electronics instrumentals.
@simone____antigone is a Glasgow based guitarist/composer drawing inspiration from the rhythms of the temporal and the unknown.
@raiments_music is Manos Camatsos making experimental pop music with bowed guitar, not bowed guitar and talky sections.

From tomorrow 8th August until the 23rd there will be a celebration of print happening @ootbdrillhall organised by @ootblueprint , there's an amazing exhibition, workshops and also lots of printed media for sale including posters, zines and t-shirts 🕸I'm really honoured to be part of the gocco club as part of this year's print fair- and have made some t-shirts with scans from a 1938 edition of Picture Post on 'jitter-bugs' and other at the time contentious dances, which @__mllplr v kindly lent to me, combined with some etching scans. The t-shirts will be on sale for the entire period of the print expo, but I'll also have a stall at the culminating market on the 23rd, where I'll have some etchings on paper for sale - please come down! XO
