First time at the @aquasafari resort for a 4-day training conference and I LOVED it!!! I Thoroughly enjoyed myself. I am definitely gonna miss coming out of our training sessions for lunch and seeing peacocks & horses as well as donkeys just casually also walking around in their space. On most days in the afternoons, the ducks & pelicans come out and just sit on the pond bed, it’s so beautiful to watch!
Walking by the beach In the mornings were so so refreshing , riding the bikes and just taking in all the fresh air! Ha the breeze is so amazing there !!! We are really missing out in accra!
Food was really yummy! A nice spread on all days. I didn’t get in any pictures or videos because I was too busy just enjoying it. My fave things were their pastries especially their croissants!!! So buttery & they melt in your mouth! I will miss those !
I’ve had a nice break away From home, learning a lot but also relaxing! Just what I needed!!! Crowning our last day with a cool boat ride was the highlight! I was skeptical at first but I’m so glad I hopped on😄

About a month ago I decided it was time to make a change! I had been thinking of chopping my locs of for a while, I just didn’t know when I was going to do it.

And then, I woke up one Saturday morning I decided that was it. That was the day I was going to be FREE! I felt I needed a new look,I needed to feel different and look different and there was no stopping me. I debated it for a little while that morning. I called my loctitian once I woke up and knew it was Go time; but she didn’t believe me. She tried convincing me against my will but I told her I’d see her soon. —
After we spoke, chaii! I started to rethink my decision so I told myself I’d give myself till 10 am and see how I felt. After standing in the mirror and doing the whole pep talk thing, I was finally convinced that yeah mama, go get it. The clock hit 10 & I told my mom, I was going to do my hair - obviously she thought yeah, her regular retightening! LOL (y’all should have seen the look on her face when I cam back home without my locs!)

Anyway, I got to my loctitians place (shoutout to my lady Fati! I actually miss our banter over those 3/4 hours of twisting sha) & she was still in denial that I was actually going to chop them off & she tried to talk me out of it. There was another lady who had just started her locs; she also begged me not to chop it off🤣 I was like woman, free me biko!

From crying like a baby after my first Economics CA because bombing be what? Hmm, and going back to my high school teachers to teach me some basics, (because I dropped the subject like it was hot in Form 4😆) to many many many sleepless nights, trying to juggle working at a point, my baby @theidocrew_gh and studying... ha! There were times, I sleep and all I see is numbers because of all that Accounting, Statistics & Economics in the course! 😔🧐 2018 Feb to 2020 Feb! Tough 2 years, But God just came through always and two years later I’m walking away with an MBA in Project Management!!! I shocked myself because I was so afraid of math & numbers growing up, all those who truly know me know!!! People asked “are you sure you can do this Project Management thing? I hear it’s so mathematical” and I’ll say “Hmm e go be”. Safe to say, I am no more afraid of numbers now! I Overcame that fear, Thanks to this degree & to God 🌟✨🌟✨

My experience at GIMPA was everything I wished for & more! (I’ll tell my transition from Law story on another day) I made amazing friends turned sisters @ms_shiishi & @_ntiriwaah who I wouldn’t trade for the world!!! We did this ladies!
