Imagine making irreversible estate decisions without fully understanding their impact. Now scale that across an entire portfolio.
Our #GreatEstatesToolkit is a strategic planning tool developed for complex property portfolios. Helping teams make clearer, evidence-based decisions about how to maintain, consolidate, and evolve their estates over time.
We’re launching it at AUDE 2026 from Monday. If you’re there, come and find us at stand 39 for a first look.

How do cities respond when they have too much water — and too little water — at the same time?
In Rotterdam, where around 85% of the city sits below sea level, this reality has driven an integrated approach to flood mitigation — bringing together city government, universities, community organisations, and citizens.
In Episode 1 of The Good City Podcast, we explore how this collaboration translates into action: encouraging residents to replace hardscape with softscape, scaling university led innovation into everyday practice, and designing infrastructure that supports biodiversity.
Many of these strategies can be adapted and applied by other cities facing the same climate pressures.

KENGO KUMA & ASSOCIATES, BDP and MICA, have been selected as the winning team to design the new wing for the National Gallery as part of Project Domani, a £750 million transformation that will redefine the Gallery for the next century.
Chosen from 65 submissions, the team’s proposal was described by the Jury as “exemplary”, recognising both its architectural quality and its clear commitment to social value. The design responds carefully to the Gallery’s historic context while introducing a contemporary, light-filled addition that strengthens connections between Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square.
Project Domani marks the most significant evolution of the National Gallery in its 200-year history. Alongside the new wing, it will enable the collection to extend beyond 1900, creating a unique place where visitors can experience the full story of Western painting in one institution.
For BDP, this is an opportunity to help shape a cultural landmark of global significance, bringing together architecture, public realm, sustainability and social value in a meaningful way.

The Good City podcast launches with a conversation at the forefront of Rotterdam’s climate ready future.
With much of the city sitting below sea level, Rotterdam faces some of Europe’s most urgent climate pressures. But by embracing water rather than resisting it, the city is transforming risk into innovation and reshaping how urban resilience is designed.
In our first episode, our experts unpack how community driven adaptation, experimental field labs, and climate adaptive public spaces are redefining Rotterdam’s next chapter, offering practical lessons for cities around the world.

Plant by plant, Grosvenor Square's transformation is coming to life.
Our expert landscape management team are now almost 80% of the way through planting more than 150,000 plants and bulbs, carefully introducing species that will shape how the garden changes and grows through the seasons.
In the below, they share the craft behind the planting - from the timing of bulbs and perennials to the role specific species play in creating a thriving, biodiverse habitat.
When complete, the square will be a natural haven for wildlife and habitats, blending beauty and biodiversity to create a place for visitors and residents to reconnect with nature.
