NYC IRL node is here! [[alternative reality]] WEEK! NYC Node is a two day game jam (March 21st-22nd) followed by playtest session (29th March or later) designing playful experiences that combine game mechanics with the real world. No-tech, low-tech, or high-tech all welcome. Initiated by Shanghai-based collective @rect_repair , this game jam taking place simultaneously in Tokyo, Taipei, Shanghai, The Hague, London, New York, and Mexico City. The New York node will be hosted by @bdon , @cyrulene , and @queeniwu at ITP on NYU campus. 🗓️ 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣? [[alternative reality]]: JAM! (game jam) - March 21st & 22nd (Sat & Sun)) 10am - 6pm, you are welcome to drop in an out, but the space will be open for jamming all weekend. [[alternative reality]]: PLAY! (playtesting) - TBD, likely the weekend after on March 28th or 29th! 👀 𝙒𝙝𝙤? The in person gamejam event in the New York City node will be open to up to 20 game makers and creatives interested in exploring alternative reality games.
