Had the pleasure of speaking to Los Angeles County Public Health Director, Dr. Barbara Ferrer.
Always a pleasure with being on a panel with @jazzieshupe and @heavenlyhughes advocating for community.
📜 Stories never forgotten. Their legacy will never be left behind.

So much love for Octavia’s Bookshelf, a pillar of the Altadena community. Go support Nikki and her amazing independent bookstore highlighting BIPOC authors. 📚❤️
Inclusive Action is proud to support Octavia’s Bookshelf and other Altadena businesses to recover from the fires. Our Rooted & Rebuilding program is delivering grants and capital, and business coaching to local small businesses impacted by the fires.
While the news cameras move on and the attention fades, our communities and economy need ongoing support to recover. All of us can play our part! Shop local and support Altadena & Pasadena businesses.
Happy Birthday to a visionary who doesn’t just talk about impact… he lives it.
@bdlamar , your leadership continues to create space for purpose, healing, and real community. Project Passion is what it is because of your yes.
We celebrate you today and honor the lives you’ve touched along the way. 🎉
Help us wish our Founder a very happy birthday!
Happy Birthday to the best version of MYSELF that I’ve ever been!
This year taught me a lot but I wouldn’t trade it in for nothing. I am truly NOTHING without ☝🏾(God) .
Earlier this week, I joined the NAACP California/ Hawaii State Conference for the capital day in Sacramento. I focused on advocating for policies benefiting Altadena and Pasadena after the Eaton fire.
The fight continues to ensure every family can return! #community #altadena #pasadena #recovery
Our next letter to the community comes from Brandon Lamar (@bdlamar ) 💛
He reflects on growing up in Altadena and what it meant to feel safe, surrounded by neighbors who knew one another across different backgrounds.
For him, that sense of connection and belonging is what truly defines Altadena and what it continues to represent to this day.
