📻Back In The Day📻
A fraction of the day from our FIRST EVER family event and it was a hit💥
When we said ‘Big Vibes • Big Energy • Big Fun’ we meant it 😎
The youth dived straight into all the Hip Hop Workshops our mentors held and there was laughter, smiles and a strong sense of unity through the whole day 😄
Honestly I don’t think any of us wanted the day to end but we know for sure we’ll be doing this again🕺🏾🎤
If you’ve got somewhat of a long attention span STAY TUNED‼️our in depth vlog is on its’ way

This event is funded by Young Creative Grants from Weoley Weoley Fun, a project under the Birmingham City Council Cultural Action Areas Programme. It’s supported by The Enterprise Zone and part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. We’re teaming up with local community partners to support the Weoley Castle community through hip-hop, arts, dance and sports.
Come and join us at our Hip-Hop day event TOMORROW🚨 for FREE ✅ Welcoming all ages (children younger then 10 MUST be accompanied by adults)
Introducing ‘Back In The Day’
A Hip Hop experience for practically anyone and everyone - ⚠️also it’s completely FREE⚠️
We’ll have a DJ spinning the dopest tracks, games for kids and refreshments on hand
Date: 17th May
Time: 2pm-7pm
Location📍: Shenley Court Hall, 200 Green Meadow Rd, B29 4DE
What inspired us to organise this event is the unity of community, which Hip Hop has achieved since it first began. The youth deserve a chance to channel their energy into creative crafts, with freedom to truly express themselves in a judgement-free space. And that’s exactly what we want to provide! We’ll have workshops for:
GRAFFITI (with King Jamez)
BREAKIN (with Bboy Mac1)
BEAT-MAKING (with Kamaal & Patryk Plow)
HIPHOP (with Mr Burnz)
And just to add even more character to the atmosphere, we’ll be having Zee and Gaby curate the space with artwork and hand-crafted pieces exclusive to the 90s/2000s
So...What are you waiting for? Get that date locked in, bring your family and friends and let’s enjoy Hip Hop together!
