Sharpie artwork on the panels that were removed by National Park Service workers from the President’s House in Philadelphia following Executive Order 14253. The panels documented the nine people enslaved by George and Martha Washington. The Order flagged displays that ‘inappropriately disparaged Americans past or living.
I haven’t stopped making a collage a day in my 5x7 moleskine notebook. This is year 4! I still I find it relaxing, almost soothing. Is it better than a glass of wine or 2? Actually, it is 🤣
Another encaustic nest painting in process for my son’s new baby girl Gwendolyn. These are so fun to make and are wonderful baby gifts, new home or wedding gifts. DM me!

Creating and collaborating with @warwickhillstudio Megan Greenholt was an intense experience and a love fest.😍
Our installation ‘HAMARTIA’ was created in response to Wendell Barry’s poem ‘The Peace of Wild Things’ for the Artessa Biennial Exhibition.
This installation as well as other thought proving work can be seen at The Cheltenham Center for the Arts thru October 10th.
There’s still time to see the outdoor sculptural exhibit TIMELINE, at Laurel Hill Mansion. (FYI —-that’s Mansion NOT Cemetary).
Looking forward to the 2026 American Semiquincentennial, Philadelphia Sculptors and Women for Greater Philadelphia asked artists to reflect on the Timeline of American History as it relates to the mansion’s history.
My installation, ‘So What Happened Was’
asks viewers to confront the staggering reality of slavery in Americas past. The Rawle family -occupying Laurel Hill from the 1760’s through the early 1800’s- can proudly point to their role in the Abolitionist movement.
The exhibition closes October 17th
Laurel Hill Mansion is located in Fairmount Park
3487 Edgley Drive
Open Thursday-Sunday 10-4.
Vintage serving trays, found figurines, sand, hair, cowrie shells, prisms and crystal garlands, chains, locks, keys, rebar
