Wow! What a roller coaster of a weekend! We had a good robot that performed better than our last competition, but a touch qualifying schedule ended us up in 33rd. But…we were selected by the #1 alliance with @frc7457 and @teamthrust1501 ! We won our team’s first blue banner!! It was wonderful to have a couple of alumni with us who helped build the foundation for this team over the last couple of years. Thanks to all of our coaches, mentors and sponsors. On to state for the first time since 2018!
@bd.robotics had a great time this afternoon sharing their robot and love for FIRST and FRC along with everything they have learned with employees at Allison Transmission. Hopefully we made an impression and encouraged some of the employees to join the FIRST community as mentors. Our team representatives also enjoyed chatting with @robodevil1018 and @cyberblue234 at the event. Plainfield Event Update: We finished the competition ranked 26th out of 35 teams and had a record of 5-7 overall. We are extremely grateful for the support that came to cheer us on including two of our sponsors @indianasteelfabricatinginc and @r.e.dimond ! We finished our season ranked 47th in the state. We had an amazing performance at First Columbus Event this weekend! We ranked 7th after the end of qualification matches and were the Alliance 6 Captain with @frcteam1720 and @teamhammond71 as alliance partners. During playoffs we finished 7th overall but we’re grateful for the opportunities at the event. Come out to Plainfield High School next weekend to support us and see us compete!
