The ride of a lifetime.. this is beyond overdue but I’ve taken quite the ig hiatus, so don’t worry about it???
It’s hard to find the words to describe all that I’ve gained from being apart of boop for the past few years.
Making my Broadway debut with an original Broadway cast in an original Broadway show with original music and movement that I was able to witness from the ground up has been an experience I won’t ever forget.
More so than the work itself, the new community I have made along the way is what I’ll take with me forever.
I hold immense gratitude for this world that I never thought I’d be in. I have learned so much about myself throughout this process. I have created real and lasting relationships. I was pushed in ways I have never been before- creatively, physically, mentally.
Broadway is not for the weak. It demands a willing body to show up eight times a week to deliver something tangible and real to thousands of strangers every day. It is trying but goddamn, it’s rewarding.
This show gave permission to peel back the layers we all meticulously built over time and jump into the glory of escapism. It inspired belly laughs with a room full of people you don’t know, a means to embrace the meaningful moments that are full of heart.
Looking out at an audience that gave into that, all while witnessing my beloved castmates and crew come together with the intention to achieve that each day, has fueled me long past our closing day.

In honor of @castle.rat announcing their next tour (which you all better go check out bbs) I couldn’t help but reminisce on the last run I did with them in the west coast in support of the incredible @early_moods

Had the absolute honor being on the road with @castle.rat in support of the ever incredible @greenlungband Being Rat Reapress, mere eternal enemy of the mighty Rat Queen is a time I won’t forget.. and I can’t wait for more to come.
Working and hanging with this crew is a goddamn pleasure and more so than that, being able to hear them fucking crush night after night is something I’ll always cherish.
