Message from the President of BCPA Looking Forward to our outdoor season! As we look ahead to the start of our outdoor season, there is a real sense of excitement across the Association. It was incredibly encouraging to see such a strong entry at our recent BC "Indoor Meet". The level of participation and performance speaks to the dedication and commitment within our community, and it sets a positive tone as we transition onto the grass. This past weekend saw three large fund raising and gathering events that were very well attended. Well done to everyone its no small feat to organize and deliver an event. We are hopeful to see that same energy โ€” or even greater โ€” reflected across all of our upcoming outdoor Highland Games on the BC Pipersโ€™ Association circuit. We would encourage each of you to take the time to enter events early and mark the dates in your calendar. Even if you are not competing, these gatherings are an important part of who we are. They offer an opportunity to reconnect with friends, support one another, and celebrate the rich tradition of our music. We are very fortunate to have such a strong calendar of games available to us here in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. These events provide not only a stage for competition, but a place for our community to come together and share the music we have all been working hard on over the winter months. Best of luck to everyone as the season begins. I look forward to seeing you on the grass and celebrating your efforts and successes throughout the summer. All the best, David Hilder, President British Columbia Pipers' Association #HighlandGames #BCPipers #Bagpipes #ScottishCulture #PipeBand #BCPA #Piping #Drumming #Community #Tradition #MusicFestival #OutdoorEvents #BritishColumbia #Washington #Oregon #SummerEvents #CelticMusic #ScotlandInBC #PipersPride #SupportLocal
