There’s a pervasive myth that consumers have stopped caring about sustainability. But the evidence says otherwise. A 2024 survey by Universitat Bonn of nearly 130,000 people across 125 countries found that around 89% said they want stronger action on climate change. And up to 31% of the reputational advantage held by market leaders comes down to how they’re perceived in environmental issues. Consumers care deeply. The brands going quiet right now are leaving that advantage on the table. Our Greenshouting Guide, created with @Creatives for Climate and @Nice and Serious, was built for brands ready to meet consumers where they actually are. Download it at the link in bio.

“I think the great challenge as we become bigger and more global, we need to care for each other in a way that ensures that the movement continues to have deep spiritual strength.” Twenty years ago, three friends had an idea on a plane: what if business could be legally designed to benefit everyone it impacts, not just shareholders? That question became a movement. And this movement became 10,000+ companies across the globe. To mark 20 years of B Lab, we're sharing the founding story straight from the people who lived it. B Lab co-founders Andrew Kassoy, Jay Coen Gilbert, and Bart Houlahan, alongside the visionary leaders of Sistema B, reflect on the journey from the first 81 pioneer companies to historic legislation in Delaware and Rwanda. This year, four Certified B Corps made TIME’s 2026 list of the world’s most influential companies across four different sectors: Circ®, featured as a Pioneer in the flagship TIME100 list, for developing a way to separate polyester from cotton in polycotton blended fabrics, making it possible to recycle the clothes most brands actually produce. They’re now building the world’s first commercial-scale polycotton recycling factory in France. Danone — the world’s largest B Corporation — is also featured in the TIME100 list for partnering with 60,000+ dairy farmers to cut methane emissions, equipping thousands of biodigesters that turn livestock waste into biogas and fertilizer, tracking ahead of their 30%-by-2030 reduction target. Who Gives A Crap, the Australian-based toilet paper company, was named one of TIME's 10 Most Influential Social Good Companies for building a business model where 50% of every sale funds clean water and sanitation projects, with over $14M donated to date. Meow Wolf is featured as one of the Most Influential Travel and Tourism Companies of 2026 for having built an entirely new entertainment category: maximalist, artist-led, story-driven installations that have drawn 13 million visitors across five U.S. cities. Their next challenge? Producing authentic and truly human-made art while continuing to scale. Though in different industries and of different sizes, they’re all redefining the role and impact of business in society, proving that you can do well, do good, and be amongst the most influential companies in the world. Congratulations to all four 👏

Congratulations, you’re a B Corp! Now what? Certification was never the finish line. It’s a framework that pushes companies to be better, every day. When you recertify, you prove to your employees, customers, communities, and shareholders that the commitment to do better wasn’t a one-time decision: it’s how you run your business. And with the new B Lab Standards raising the bar, that proof just got more meaningful. Ready to recertify? Start at the link in bio.

Tourism is a trillion-dollar industry. Whether it helps or harms communities and ecosystems comes down to the choices businesses — and travelers — make. Tune in to this episode of our award-winning podcast, Forces For Good, to explore what sustainable travel actually looks like, and why getting it right matters more than ever (link in bio). Forces For Good is produced for B Lab by @huemangroupmedia .

For B Corp Month this year, we handed over the mic to B Lab and Sistema B teams around the world, asking them to take us along to community gatherings and moments of connection on the ground. The result? A vibrant mix of cultures, voices, and perspectives — all driving the same movement forward. Watch the wrap up reel to experience it for yourself, and make sure to follow our teams for more moments like these throughout the year.

On the one hand, nearly half of environmental claims are unsubstantiated and greenwash-y. On the other, companies with real impact are going quiet, wary of political backlash and scrutiny. In a landscape this polarized, how do you talk about impact without adding to the noise? Greenshouting is one answer: communicating openly about what you’re doing, where you’re falling short, and the measurable progress behind it (verified by a third party). In this carousel, we break down 3 of the dials from our Greenshouting Guide, created in collaboration with @creatives_for_climate and @niceandserious , and how B Corps are putting them in action. Download the guide at the link in bio for the full deep dive.

Most of the challenges the coffee industry is facing — farmers struggling to earn a living income, increasing climate pressure on crops, and lack of supply chain transparency — cannot be resolved by a single company alone. So B Corps are joining forces. The B Corp Coffee Coalition brings together Certified B Corps from across the coffee value circle, including farmers, roasters, importers, and retailers, to work collectively on the challenges that are too big and too systemic for individual action. With seven founding members, including Sancoffee, ViCAFE, Spring Valley Coffee, Bettr Coffee, CleverCoffee, Café Imports and @Nomad Coffee Group, the coalition is still taking shape. Which means B Corps joining now have a real opportunity to help shape its direction from the ground up. Curious to learn more? Join them for an open Q&A on April 30 at 08:00 - 09:00 am CET & 06:00 - 07:00 pm CET (simultaneous interpretation in Portuguese and Spanish will be provided). Register at bcorpcoffee.org

In the bigger scheme of things, nothing we're doing — building standards, certifying companies, measuring impact — matters if we don't have a planet that can sustain life. So this Earth Day, let’s be clear: environmental accountability isn't “optional”; it's the baseline requirement for business to exist at all. And while every business depends on the planet, not every business is accountable to it. Find the ones that are at bcorp.com

Where did all the sustainability stories go? While many companies continue doing the work, many have stopped speaking about it for fear of saying something wrong. But when responsible voices go quiet, something else happens: the narrative gets claimed. This is the risk of greenhushing. And why it’s time to start greenshouting. Download B Lab’s Greenshouting Guide with Creatives for Climate and Nice and Serious and start telling your story clearly, honestly, and out loud (link in bio).

We’re proud to see our Greenshouting Guide with @creatives_for_climate and B Corp @niceandserious featured in Fast Company, helping spark a bigger conversation this Earth Month. In her article, Kate Williams, CEO of @1percentftp , makes the case against “greenhushing” and for why companies willing to speak honestly about their sustainability work are the ones that will stand out in 2026. We couldn't agree more. Read her piece, then download the guide at the link in bio.
