Wishing everyone celebrating a joyful and spirited Purim! 🎭🍪 Some of my favorite memories are watching my kids grow up celebrating Purim with their friends. From the little-kid costumes to watching my best friend lead the spiel with a take on that year’s pop culture, those are the moments that have meant so much to our family. And yesterday, celebrating the quad-synagogue Purim gathering was a powerful reminder of how strong and connected our broader community is. May this Purim bring happiness, strength, unity, and plenty of sweetness to all who observe. Chag Purim Sameach! ✡️

Nothing like starting the morning at Paris Baguette in Princeton/West Windsor with some very sharp young minds. Thank you to the kids who weren’t afraid to ask the “tough” questions today — your curiosity, honesty, and thoughtfulness made it a great way to kick off the day. The future is in good hands.

A big thank you to Paris Baguette in North Brunswick for hosting our petition drive just before the blizzard hit yesterday. We truly appreciate the warm space. And to the new and old friends who braved the cold to show up and support — your energy and commitment mean everything. Grateful for this community every single day.

🏒 What a Moment for Team USA and New Jersey! 🇺🇸 Jack Hughes did it. On a historic day at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan–Cortina, Hughes delivered the goal every American hockey fan dreams about — the overtime winner that gave Team USA the Olympic gold medal by defeating arch-rival Canada 2–1 in an absolute thriller. 🇺🇸🥇 It was a comeback 46 years in the making — the first U.S. Olympic gold in men’s hockey since the legendary “Miracle on Ice” in 1980 — and Hughes’ golden goal just 1:41 into three-on-three overtime will go down in history. What makes this moment even sweeter? Jack Hughes isn’t just an American hero — he’s a New Jersey icon. Born in Florida but raised into superstardom as the dynamic center and alternate captain for the New Jersey Devils, Hughes represents the Garden State on hockey’s biggest stage and delivered one of the biggest goals of his career for his country this morning. Whether you’re from NJ, a Devils fan, or just love great moments in sports, this was one for the ages. 🇺🇸🔥

Stopped by the Bridgewater Commons Mall to celebrate the Lunar New Year 🧧 with friends I’ve known for about 15 years. One of the highlights of the evening was carefully cutting out a beautiful paper design of the Fire Horse — a symbol of strength, energy, and determination for the year ahead.

Thank you to the Monroe Renaissance Democrats for the warm welcome last night. It was truly energizing to be with so many engaged residents. I was honored to stand alongside partners like Monroe’s Councilwoman Miriam Cohen, Senator Linda Greenstein, and Surrogate Claribel Cortes as we talked about the issues that matter most to our neighbors: keeping housing and healthcare affordable, perserving social security and medicare, and ensuring that every voice is heard in challenging times. Conversations like these — grounded in respect for our differences and focused on solutions — remind me why public service matters. Thank you to everyone who came out and shared their thoughts.

I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Jesse Jackson, a towering voice for justice whose life’s work helped shape our community and our country for the better. From the civil rights movement to decades of advocacy for equality and opportunity, his courage and conviction opened doors for so many and inspired generations to keep pushing forward. His legacy isn’t just history — it lives on in the work we continue today. May his memory be a blessing, and may we honor him by never giving up on the fight for justice and dignity for all.
