I had a memory pop up in my feed today. 16 years ago I posted the second photo in an album called āPre L.A.ā Perfectly timed, I recently had the pleasure of being photographed by the incredibly talented Matt Kallish again.
I still drive through Los Angeles on my way to acting class, or an audition, or a screening, or shoot and remind myself of that girl and her āPre L.A.ā dreams - how excited she would be to be where I am now.
Itās not a place or a destination. Itās the gift of having a purpose and getting to follow it along as life unfolds.
Dreams do come true.
Last night at the premiere of Everyone Asked About You with so so so many of my dearest friends who also happen to be incredible artists, collaborators, and humans.
9 Years in LA
It hasnāt been anything like I wouldāve expected and Iām grateful for that. Iāve grown both as an artist and a person, and Iāve learned just how much I care to keep going after it.
