I'm thrilled to announce that the Alyssum designs from the Herbarium Collection are now live on Ravelry!

The Herbarium Collection, a collaboration with @bcgarn published in November last year, is now coming to my Ravelry as individual patterns!

Beginning with the release today of the Alyssum designs, I will be releasing the patterns over the course of the next week.
.
The Alyssum Kerchief is inspired by its namesake flower, a beautiful garden annual with fragrant blooms.
Roositud, an Estonian inlay technique, forms the floral motifs as you knit the piece. Construction is sideways, with the motif centered in the scarf.
This little kerchief is the perfect mid-season accessory, used a scarf, a head band, or even tied to the strap of a bag. I use my sample as a headband to keep my hair out of my eyes when I work in the garden.

The Alyssum Cap is inspired by one of my favorite annual blooms, Sweet Alyssum. The tiny honey scented blooms attract bees to my garden in the early Spring, and give balance to brightly colored nasturtiums in bouquets and garden borders.
The cap is worked from the brim up, beginning with the edging.
The Estonian inlay technique known as Roositud is worked to create the leaves and flowers and are worked as you work the piece.
Simple decreases shape the crown.

Guten Morgen ihr Lieben,
Heute geht mein erstes Design 2026 online. Ich freue mich riesig darüber und möchte mich bei meinen wunderbaren Teststrickerinnen für ihre unglaubliche Unterstützung bedanken.
Es sind wunderschöne Westen in den letzten Wochen entstanden, die ich euch ganz bald zeigen werde ♥️
Die Koffieboon Vest wird seitwärts gestrickt, wodurch die coole asymmetrische Form entsteht.
Meiner Meinung nach eignet sie sich für jede Körperform, kann aber wie immer individuell angepasst werden.
Schwierigkeitsgrad: 2 von 5

Fingering: 18M x 24R = 10 cm im Muster
