March 2026 Recap! 🔥 It has been a busy month for the Foundation, and we couldn't help but highlight some of our top moments from last month! 📚World Book Day 2026 - We had the honour of welcoming Joe Raynes and Jordan Tillson for World Book Day! The pair visited Twerton Infants School and donated books on behalf of the Foundation! They also read books to each of the classes that they visited, with the children having a special treat in store for Joe, getting him to read The Book With No Pictures!🤣 🏃Bath Half - Our amazing team of 25 runners gave it their all, and together, we’ve raised over £6000 for Bath City FC Foundation! 🙌 A special shoutout goes to Jim Rollo, who went above and beyond by raising a phenomenal £500+ for the Foundation 👏🔥 ⚽Parkinsons Walking Football Launch - The foundation was delighted to launch their Parkinson's Walking Football session! Running every Thursday 10-11AM at Odd Down Sports Ground, the session offers a football session specially adapted for the challenges that people with Parkinsons face! 🗣Locker Room Chat - In partnership with @bathcityfc and @dorothyhousehc , Dorothy House has produced a new Locker Room Chat, to destigmatise men’s mental health and encourage others to come together and talk openly about grief and loss. This co-insides with the launch of the new Bereavement Hub here at Twerton Park, from 5:30 - 7:30PM, providing a friendly and supportive drop-in centre for anyone coping with bereavement. 🏆Tournament Success! - It was a great day for the Foundation in the #NationalLeagueTrust tournament held at Yeovil! Pensford Primary School, our mixed team, won the entire tournament! A massive congratulations to them, we are very proud of your hard work! 🔥 Widcombe Junior School, our girls team, had a mixed day of results, including a massive 5-0 win. They showed great courage and spirit to the very end! On Saturday, it was Foundation day at the Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park! Participants from a variety of our programmes too to the pitch for some half time fun during @bathcityfc last game of the season! ⚽ Members from our Walking Football, Swallow and MIND groups took part in a small sided game, whilst our Pan Disability participants battled it out in a penalty shootout against Bladud, the club mascot! 🥅 We also had our Foundation representatives from Pensford Primary School, who paraded their trophy from their tournament win in Yeovil last month! 🏆 Thank you to everyone who has supported the Foundation this season, your contributions go a long way and allow for us to keep providing our programmes to support our city! 🖤 #MoreThanJustFootball #bathcityfc #bath #uptheromans

ℹ Our Reconnecting Twerton sessions have moved to Tuesday's, 10am -12pm! Reconnecting Twerton is our social inclusion project which forms part of the community-based work of the Bath City FC Foundation. We provide support for people of retirement age and above who live alone in our immediate community. Reconnecting Twerton now supports a group of 18 men and women whose ages range from 64 to 98 and who live within a 3-mile radius of the football club. This project aims to reduce isolation and support older people’s mental and physical well-being.
