We are kicking off our 2nd, BC BIKE RIDE NORTH which will connect mountain bikers from all over the world on a tour of 5 Northern British Columbia communities exploring 11 distinct trail networks over 6 days of riding. “Burns Lake kind of blew my mind! Pigasus was the first trail we rode and it was, as Kelli [Sherbinin] calls it, down-country*. [The trails] were super well built, really rad, fun BC singletrack that you’ve just got to get out there and try! For our second run we did Charlotte’s Web, which is another super fun, give-me-more-when-I get-to-the-bottom-don’t-want-to-stop trail. And then for our last run we did a black diamond called Full Boar. It had some really cool chutes, and crazy berms, and turns, and some drops! One thing I love about Burns Lake is the diversity and I’m a diversity kinda gal!” ~ Elladee Brown, two-time Canadian National Champion – in DH and XC.
