The past few years I feel like there has been alot of negativity surrounding the black community.
With our Heroes dying left and right, our protests being subject to brutality, and or history being thrown to the wayside because it makes some people "uncomfortable". Fighting for our voices to be heard all the time sometimes distracts us from actually celebrating the great things we have accomplished as a community throughout this uphill battle.
So this year don't forget to celebrate your history, to celebrate your culture, and celebrate your blackness.
And don't just keep your crown up this month because you are black and beautiful all year round my Kings and Queens. ✊🏾🙏🏾
