I wrote this in a college english class and will not sit here and tell you that I am a great writer. But what I wrote about is something I find to be very important as a creative person and I think it applies in the current state of our world. I would appreciate if you are able to take the time to read it.
Every piece of art you create is an act of protest. Art is protest. Being able to create something to speak a thousand words to unite others is protest. Each and every creative medium is a direct act of protest. Whether directly political or not, you are using your voice and expression.
There is so much hate and misinformation and propaganda. You have the power to create something to unite people, to share information on what’s going on. Keep creating and supporting artists and sharing a message.
No one is condoning death or violence. But you live by the sword you die by the sword.
