a LOT of updates in the last week! a new custom plywood door with a circle window stained in a beautiful dark teal, our hallway cabinet got a refacing and a pale yellow stain and⭐️ TA DA ⭐️ I painted the ceilings white after all! after over a year of debating and trying each and every way— it feels like for sure the right decision.
should I paint the other half of the house’s ceilings white too?

here a brief history of me:
I’m from the woods of upstate New York (grew up on 81 acres w/ 4 kids in my family), lived in China when I was a teenager because my dad worked for Kodak, then went to fashion school (FIT) in NYC, dropped out and became a hair and make up artist, met a cute boy from California who was visiting my church (I handed him the offering basket), got married and moved to California eight months later, got pregnant a few months after that, had a daughter (Zara) moved to Portland and renovated our MCM house - had two more daughters (Billie and Margot) & started a business, moved back to California bought and renovated 2 houses… and now… we are… (I’ll tell you soon!)
