⚫️🌵 Burnt Bean Co. 📷@benyantovisuals Number one in the world. Number one outside the USA. Burnt Bean x Black Cactus BBQ We always said we would only travel back to Texas if it was for the best. Last summer, we sent a message to @popeofbbq without really understanding what we were asking. When he said yes to us coming out to shadow him, we had no idea how big that yes would become. @burntbeanco was built from nothing by @popeofbbq and @bbqsuperdave in a tiny town called Seguin, tucked between Austin and San Antonio. No noise. No chasing trends. Just total focus. They built the best barbecue in the world and turned Seguin into a destination by staying true to themselves. They rarely collaborate and almost never open the door to outsiders, so when they didn’t just welcome us in but offered us a place on their world famous menu, it honestly floored us. They didn’t just let us into their kitchen. They let us into their home. They made us part of the Burnt Bean family. This is how you become the best. When your team is family, everyone is invested, everyone believes, and everyone moves together. Without that, none of this exists. We walked away with lessons that go far beyond barbecue. Lessons in humility, trust, patience, and doing things the right way even when nobody is watching. We will carry this experience with us forever. We finished off the weekend by righting our wrongs from 2025 and making it out to The Burnt Bean for Sunday brunch 🤘🔥 And yeah… this brunch is unbeatable. From the variety of tacos, to the Blue October 🤯 — eggs, brisket, strawberry jam, and jalapeño cream cheese all tucked into a croissant — absolute magic. The huevos rancheros? Just as dialed. Every bite hit. No notes. We also got to link up with our good friend BottleChucker, which made an already great morning even better. Shoutout to him for some of these pictures! Throw back to @bbqtravelclub inspection trip to Texas back on June with our director @ragriffiths2009 , operations manager @katie_hollinshead and one of our best ambassadors @shropshire.lad We had the pleasure of meeting @popeofbbq and @bbqsuperdave the week after their unforgettable BBQ joint @burntbeanco was awarded the number 1 spot in @texasmonthly Top 50! Safe to say their incredible platters had the better of us.

You ever made love to a burger? 🍔 ❤️ 🤤 @burntbeanco ’s Red Onion Burger is a fresh-ground brisket patty smashed over thin-sliced onions — their riff on the Oklahoma-style classic. Layered with grilled jalapeños, a runny fried egg (good Lawd), melted American cheese, killer pickles, and their signature bean sauce… all stacked on a sesame tallow-toasted bun, with house cut twice tallow fried fries… smoky, messy, bold — this one’s got soul. You could be excused for thinking that Ernest Servantes and the @burntbeanco came out of nowhere to take number one on the Texas monthly list. But you’d be mistaken. Together with @bbqsuperdave , Ernest Servantes has taken the barbecue world by storm, but like most good things in life, it’s been a long road to get here. Passionate, yes. Talented, not in doubt. But beyond all of that is nothing but hard work. No.6 on our most influencial people in barbecue today it’s the @popeofbbq And not a moment to soon for Seguin, Texas.
