What you are about to watch is my first ever dance project. I don’t want to be too extra with my words so I will just say I am so happy i decided to do it.
This came randomly in my brain while i was watching the music video to the song WADIBUSA by the one and only @unclewaffles_ , I got super inspired by the visual and told myself “I HAVE 1 WEEK TO DO IT”
And so i gathered my friends, had a few rehearsals and then explained my whole idea to @plam.wolfpack and @momoirobaraaa who shot and edited this and brought it to life straight from my dreams.

Thats also a perfect moment to introduce you to you my trusty afro team @bbq.afro with who we have already gone on stages and competitions a few times. I will post all the things we did but i wanted to start our page strong with this project. Thank you guys so much ❤️🔥🥹. I also want to thank @skywalkersdancestyle and @steph.buharo for joining, they have always supported me spreading the afro culture in our country and i appreciate that. Also the two little beans @mish.ony and @tobby_3838 who were so keen on being part of this project and I got so charged from them✨🥹. And last but not least my gf @bukijol who joined for a special part and supported me throughout the whole thing❣️

The purpose of this program is to create a closed group of people interested in the afro street styles (amapiano,afrohouse, azonto, naija style, ndombolo etc) and widen the knowledge about the culture!
We will train basics, choreos and freestyle.

🔥 HENOCH TEKLE 🔥
Henoch is a dancer from the Netherlands with his roots in Eritrea. He has been training at his home base Touchée Dance Company with Kenzo Alvares, Precious Alvares/World Of Afro and Sigourney Alvares to name a few.
Over the years Henoch has trained in many style to become the versatile dancer he is now. Lately, Henoch has been focussing on teaching and creating, which he is also taking abroad! With training in both freestyle and choreography he feels like he can offer his teachings to a broad scale of people.
Are you ready?
Henoch will be providing a 1,5hr Afrohouse intensive class 🇦🇴🔥
In this class he will be covering history, some steps/grooves and a nice combo!
So i have been planning to do this for quite some time, but i was waiting for people to start loving this style more.
After some time i realised i should be the person to ignite this love, so here we are!
I feel like Bulgaria NEEDS more afro and I set myself a goal to grow this community.
I am not gonna lie, doing this alone, or even with a few trusty people is scary, difficult and needs a lot of patience and passion. I am also still learning so much about afro dance styles but I can’t wait to learn more with other afroheads besides me.
All i can say is that I want to share this culture to my country and I believe that there is people that will join me in this journey.
