R.I.P to my Older Brother William Bowie
People use to ask me where do you get so much energy and drive to push and it was always because of Him. We would talk about a lot of things when I would visit him or talk on phone he would watch my breaking battles from the hospital and be like James you gotta improve this and you shoulda won this and he was my number 1 supporter he would always tell me you can beat all those guys. I would push myself to the extreme because his spirit was with me I made a promise that I wanted him to be here to witness.Now that he isn’t here anymore here is a video of him and his story! The promise will be kept 🐘🤝🏾🦁none of you have any idea the fire in my soul ✌🏽 I don’t need any condolences from anyone because none of yall truly know me just that I’m good Breakdance this post is to preserve my brother and his spirit is now with me and in Heaven ❤️🔥
Throw back - been breaking 17 years now and something I feel is dope is reflecting and seeing how my style and dance change over the years along with mindset. I don’t think you should be moving the same doing the same moves because life is ever changing breaking and as remaining a student you continue to search. Breaking isn’t the easiest path just as any other path you chose in life from adapting from injuries and curve balls life can throw but I think pushing through allows you to learn more about your self and who you are if I can give advice to anyone is to just relax enjoy the moments, keep searching and be present one love 💎
