@gardening.with.ish . This Border reflects Ish's journey as a designer and a way of staying true to the beliefs of their younger self. Childhood treasures are reimagined in an adult space where meaning remains even as materials change, like a bronze Little Tikes car, unexpected but perfectly at home.
A working train winds through the garden, past stone waterfalls, under building blocks, around playful features, and across whimsical bridges.
🌿 'A Garden Between Stories', designed by Fabienne Maitland Robinson
@dig_club . This Border shows how even a small space can tell a story, where memory, imagination, and everyday life meet.
Inspired by family adventures that begin in the garden, it captures a sense of discovery, where movement through the space is open and imagination is free to wander.
Two connected planting styles shape the journey: one rich and layered in a traditional cottage garden style, the other softer and more atmospheric, inspired by woodland edges.
At its heart, a specimen tree, swing, and wildflower clearing create a place to pause.
