1️⃣ Online application
Read criteria carefully and make sure the scheme suits you.
Share your motivation for joining the BBC and speak authentically.
Double-check your eligibility details.
2️⃣ Online assessment
Strengths-based questions and scenarios to understand how you work (45-60 mins).
Some tech schemes include a coding test.
3️⃣ Video interview
Show your strengths, motivation, and what you’ll bring to the BBC. Complete online, at a time that suits you.
4️⃣ Assessment centre
Usually virtual. Includes a group exercise and an interview focused on strengths, values, and examples.
5️⃣ Outcome
If successful, you’ll receive an offer and connect with your cohort before starting. Not this time? You can reapply next year.
6️⃣ Start apprenticeship in September 2026!
