LOEWE Crafted World Tokyo.
A brand exhibition celebrating our rich history, Spanish heritage, and the joy of making things by hand.
Featuring iconic designs and a series of interactive rooms exploring our recent collaborations—including those of Kyoto-based ceramicists Suna Fujita, and Studio Ghibli with a massive leather recreation of Howl’s Moving Castle.
The exhibition celebrates craft and artistic techniques passed down through the ages which have long been supported by the LOEWE FOUNDATION, the annual Craft Prize, and our many collaborations with artisans around the world.
On view at 6-35-6 Jingumae, Shibuya, from 29 March to 11 May 2025.

The LOEWE FOUNDATION is a proud sponsor of this year’s Asama International Photo Festival, where we’re presenting an exhibition that celebrates the work of Kama tea kettle master craftsman Ōnishi Seiwemon and his family, part of a six-year programme to support and preserve the craft of Kama for future generations.
Seen through the eyes of Seiwemon’s wife, Emi Ōnishi, the thoughtful image series is captured by acclaimed photographer Osamu Yokonami, best known for his quiet surrealism and explorations of anonymity and identity.
Asama International Photo Festival 2024 PHOTO MIYOTA runs until 16 September.

'A while back, I used to think about furniture that was beautiful to look at, that is, furniture that had visual meaning, even when it was not being put to any specific use. Recently, however, I am more interested in furniture that is not intended to be used at all, but simply happens to manifest as furniture. In addition, changes in furniture are naturally not unrelated to the changes in the way that they are used and arranged, and instead of the conventional layout of arranging furniture neatly along the wall, one could also consider placing them in the center of the room or arranging them in an irregular manner.'

C&S Eyewear Display for EYEVAN by @ryotaakiyama01
Japanese eyewear brand EYEVAN-sponsored Kazumi Kurigami photo exhibition was held this October, and Akiyama-san created the eyewear displays.
Within the exhibition featuring 50 of Mr. Kurigami's powerful large-format photos alongside lined 20 of eyewear, we extensively discussed how to showcase smaller-scale eyewear as 'art pieces'.
We aimed to direct attention to the eyewear's details which express the brands 50-year history, necessitating displays guiding focus while also expressing the eyewear's nobility, matching the impact of the photos. When reaching out to Akiyama-san, he graciously accepted, resulting in the realization.
I am once again delighted by our inaugural collaboration with him.
