Still smiling about the inaugural Ramshorn Classic where 150 skiers in wild costumes took over our trails for a day of sun, snow, and supporting @parkcountyenvironmentalcouncil . From dinosaur onesies, to rockin’ with @shakeyhank , and feasting with @regenmarket , we raised over $2,500 for conservation while creating memories in the mountains. Last winter we had the privilege of working with Montana’s Yellowstone Country and Windfall to create a Montana Backstories video about B Bar Ranch.
Together we learn about Maryanne Mott’s vision for stewarding two ranches in Tom Miner Basin and Big Timber, Montana. She is dedicated to the well-being of the land, the animals, and the guests who spend time here.

At the second annual Ramshorn Classic this Saturday February 28th the B Bar Ranch will be a party in the back! Sure the business in the front will contain some dirt, but the music, food, games, and good times are sure to knock your wigs off. Dust off your rock skis and funkiest attire for this weird winter celebration and fundraiser for PCEC. Find tickets in our bio, last year this honky tonk sold out!
Some days at B Bar Ranch are loud and chaotic. Other days, you can hear a single bee buzzing in the garden. The only constant on the ranch is that everyday is different.

Looks like Tom Miner made the naughty list this year. Although the mountain tops have seen ample snowfall, it’s been raining on the basin floor. For now, XC skiing is closed as we wait for snow!
It feels like winters are visiting Montana later these days, and skiing is just around the corner.
I’m excited to share that we are opening up our new Skully Cabin for vacation rental. Give us a call to book the cabin before all weekends fill up… for now take the edge off with some B Bar Beef Jerky and pray for snow! ❄️🏔️

This past Saturday, Co-op Members spent a beautiful fall day @bbarranchmt for our second Ranch Tour of the season🌾
Together, we learned about regenerative ranching practices, soil health, and composting systems - all while enjoying the crisp fall air, mountain views, and great company.
We gathered for a ranch lunch and meaningful conversation, leaving with a deeper appreciation for the care that goes into raising local, sustainable beef. 🤎

The grand culmination of nature’s song roars to a crescendo. Tom Miner Basin’s soundscape is composed of bugling elk, crying coyotes, trilling birds of prey, and the subtle snare of quaking aspens. We retreat to the lodge illuminated by lingering daylight with wide eyes to inspect for grazing grizzly bears. The unique privilege of this experience does not fall on deaf ears. Spoiled by a ranch to table dinner complimented by a private string concert, we hum the tunes together between bites of beef. We quietly ice skate the Milky Way on magnificent display during Fall Equinox’s new moon.
