Take a closer look at the work of our second place Artist Prize 2026 winner, Rida Abdallah ✨
Born in Beirut and based in Paris, Abdallah uses drawing to explore the slow and rhythmic erosion of form. In his latest series, ‘Disparitions’ (Disappearances), Abdallah’s ink drawings depict figures caught in states of social precarity, gradually losing their definition, dissolving into dense, collective contexts.
A graduate of ENSBA and Panthéon-Sorbonne, Rida is also a recipient of the Blue Prize and the Paul-Louis Weiller Portrait Prize.

Meet this year’s third place Artist Prize Winner, Kasia Słania 🌟
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków with two decades of experience as an art director, Słania’s practice explores the fragile space between control and surrender.
In her latest series, ‘Grasses’, Słania uses graphite, oil pastel, and graffiti ink to trace a protagonist dissolving into a late summer landscape. Her selection of mixed-media works meditate on change and memory, capturing the moment identity blends into its surroundings.

Each work from Berlin: A Rough Cut, the latest exhibition of Maria and Natalia Petschatnikov, is a snapshot of a metropolis perpetually in flux.
Based on photographs of handmade cardboard models staged around Berlin, the Cardboard Furniture series, specifically, transforms volatile materials into permanent monuments.
Seemingly discarded objects become laden with individual mythologies, shaped by the stark Berlin landscape.
