i started writing with an actual vision around summer of 2024. starting a solo project felt weird, doing it in a new city felt even weirder. it still feels weird tbh. i had no real direction but was like âfuck it, iâll just feel it outâ, like i do with everything else. the bulk of this EP was built in last few months of 2025 while i began to get my shit back together from one of the most emotionally exhausting years of my adult life.
thank you to @hallebarry.ca for being my day one and working with me on every bit of this. shouts out to @mattstormsound for playing guitar with me on Dwightâs Lullaby, to @nateastrobeats for playing keys on Black Tea and to @stewart_hidalgo for being patient and flexible with me while mastering. thank you to everyone else who supported or inspired me in any way throughout the creative process- and to everyone who showed up for me at the release show back in December. if this album can make at least one other person feel something, it was worth it.
