Today was the last day of class for our 2Y students. We are so proud of your accomplishments and can't wait to see what life has in store. This group went 13 for 15 on the BOC with one to go. #sicemforever💚🐻💛
Congratulations to Dr. Matthea Williams for receiving the March Pure Gold award for Culture! 🎉🎉
"Matthea’s endless work as Co-Chair for the Community and Belonging Committee has had a meaningful impact on Robbins College, making her an ideal candidate for the Pure Gold Award in the area of Culture. In particular, her work in organizing the Belonging event created a thoughtful, faith-based space for open dialogue and discussion regarding our history and collective future. Her passion and commitment have helped emphasize what true belonging at Baylor should look like."
To wrap up National Athletic Training Month, we would like to shoutout two of our former BU MAT Alumni!
JT is currently an Athletic Training Fellow at the University of Kentucky working with M/W Basketball, Volleyball, and Rifle. During his first year as a Certified Athletic Trainer, JT has been a part of a NCAA National Championship run with Kentucky Volleyball and recently was a part of the NCAA March Madness tournament with Mens Basketball.
Adam is currently an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Colorado Mesa University, working primarily with Football. Adam will continue to work in high-level football as a Seasonal Athletic Trainer with the Cincinnati Bengals this coming season!
We are so proud of both JT and Adam on all of their accomplishments!

The MAT program has a lot of very unique classes that provide our students with unique perspectives of patient care. Interdisciplinary Approach Healthcare provides insights from professionals that ATs often work with in their practice. This class has many guest speakers who come to class to discuss a wide array of topics. This year, we have had so many talented professionals come to class to speak. Thank you so much for your time and efforts!
2Y MAT student Michael Aiden Mullarkey completed his immersive experience with @hailstatefb . He had . say about his experience: "Working with Mississippi State's Football team was an absolute honor being able to gain valuable experience seeing the ins and outs of SEC football. I am very appreciative of the opportunity I had to work with great clinicians and staff at MSU, learning new techniques and homing in on my skills." Upon graduation, he would love to work in professional or collegiate football. A huge thank you to the staff for hosting him! #sicembears #hailstate
