got these pictures with that expired roll of ektar 1000. decided to fudge with the colors a bit, and even then, felt like something was missing. i decided to add some text! these words come from songs ive written over the years, and these lyrics are the ones that have really stuck with me.
in pursuit of experimentation, layering media, and vulnerability! :D
decided to eff around and make a music video to fools gold! this footage is from a very fond memory of a day. warm and creative!
we recorded this audio is my living room under mountains of blankets to trap the sound. i will forever owe annika my thanks for helping make this happen.
the EP will come out in sweet time, life has other plans right now and i must tend to my brain and heart, but this is a good start!!!!

★ Photography Club! ★
Whether you’re an expert photographer or new to the world of film or digital media, Friends Share Photography is the club for you! We’re welcoming photographers of all skill levels and all kinds (film, digital, even your smart phone) to come join us in a monthly exploration of new prompts, educational workshops, tips, tricks, and most importantly, community.
Last month our club members were given the prompt: Tell a story with a single photo.
We’ve had a month to explore our interpretations of that prompt, and everyone will be sharing their work with the group this next Thursday, April 30th! If you’re new and will be joining us, we will debrief themes and questions from our last meeting, discuss everyone’s work from this past month, and get into the next prompt!
We emphasize accessibility and encourage any and all questions. This is a space for us to all learn from each other, and we are so excited to see what we can all create together. So bring whatever camera you’d like to work with—we’re so excited to see you on Thursday!

some 16x9 shots from over the last year. i mostly make my images using portrait orientation because it feels near to my heart and makes most sense for me to capture composition. however, i’ll dabble in the landscape. here is evidence of that! (thea took the photo of the sweet frog in my hand)
all on 35mm film!
black and white photos from disneyland. i had meant to push the film but forgot to note it so some came out super funky in their exposure but i love them nonetheless!
also there’s one of a 10-15 second exposure as we circle the table of madame leota, iconically known as the floating head in a crystal ball of one of my favorites, the haunted mansion!
