Exciting news! The Baxter will be thoughtfully restored to its original purpose as Bozeman’s landmark boutique hotel, beginning this spring.
ㅤ
During the restoration, The Baxter will continue in its current community role of hosting weddings and special events, and Café Aurore, Bacchus and Ted’s Montana Grill will remain open and operational while the upper-level apartments are converted back into hotel rooms.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to continuing to host your upcoming events and sharing more as this next chapter unfolds.
This space hasn’t always been the pub you know today.
ㅤ
It began as the Baxter Café, where founder Eugene Graf served fresh-baked goods and coffee to the Bozeman community.
ㅤ
By the 1960s, it had transformed into Bacchus Pub, yet much of its original character remains. Guests still gather beneath the German monk heads, surrounded by Nemadji tiles and rich, dark wood beams that have defined the space for nearly a century.
