Screen printing is one of my favorite mediums to work in. There’s something exciting about pulling ink and not knowing exactly what it’ll look like on the other side. It’s been very special for me to see friends and loved ones expressing themselves through my work. A big thank you to my collaborators (@lavish_label_fr & @hannah7472 ) for trusting me with your designs and to @sobbybutton for teaching me how.

Untitled No. 1 (Cruciform) Acrylic on mixed media 2024 Hello my dear friends! This is the first painting from my ongoing series of portraits. I’ve been attempting to combine the figurative with the abstract in my representations of friends and loved ones. The central acrylic drawings are a more literal representation of a person while the background is a pulpy abstract version (comprised of many layers of inks, papers, collages, magazines that remind me of my subject). I’m highly inspired by the contemporary work of Mark Bradford and classical/romantic portraits by painters like Jean François Millet. Thank you for reading! And stay tuned for more.
