As a little girl, I was always fascinated by love - without fully understanding what it meant. Coming from a broken home, I didn’t grow up surrounded by it the way some people did. So I studied it instead. I watched my friends’ families closely. I noticed the small things - the frustrated sighs in the kitchen that somehow ended with a kiss on the forehead… the quiet “drive safe” before someone walked out the door. The constant check-in calls that for some felt ordinary, even annoying. To me - it was everything. The “Are you coming to Sunday dinner?” invitations. The unspoken reassurance that the door is always open - you can always come home. I didn’t fully understand the foundation of it, but I knew I wanted it. I never grew to resent the ones who had it - I just wished they knew how lucky they were. With everything going on in the world, love has always had the ability to make time stand still.. even in the darkest seasons. And to this day, I still get chills seeing two people look into the eyes of the person they’re choosing to do life with - for better, for worse, for always. Now, living through the eye of the lens as a content creator or makeup artist - I’m trusted with the most intimate, unfiltered moments of the couple’s day. It’s deeply healing for me, and I’ll never take that for granted. Stepping into the studio magic! ✨ A peek from our portrait session with the stunning @louiseneupert , captured flawlessly by photographer @sandraaberg during a creative @sony.nordic portrait workshop in Stockholm! 🇸🇪 dress @love_lou_atelier @goeckersverige This workshop was all about exploring the foundations of studio photography and how light shapes a portrait. We covered how different modifiers, light directions, and power settings can change the mood, enhance facial features, and bring out authentic expression. We were working with the new @profoto B20 lights and shapers - dialing in highlights and shadows to keep skin looking luminous and great. Sandra, demonstrated how even small adjustments in highlights and shadows can dramatically shift the final result. 📸 For the makeup, we focused on techniques that support and enhance studio lighting. The goal was to keep the skin fresh, luminous, and dimensional - helping the light reflect naturally without emphasizing texture. For the eyes, I used a softly smoked-out liner to add definition that reads well on camera, paired with corner lashes for a lift, a nude lip to balance the look, and a light pink blush to maintain a healthy, natural glow under bright lights. Still buzzing from this incredible bridal-inspired shoot we created with our dream team! Using the power of @profoto lights these images were later showcased by @sandraaberg during her talk at @wayoutnorth - such an honor! 🙌 Sandra lights up every room she walks into, filling the space with her energy, charm, and genuine kindness 💞 This little BTS reel show a bit of how we created these ethereal shots: wind, wild moments, laughter, and a whole lot of teamwork! Our beautiful model for this project was @nicoleedensbo , who’s also active on the big screen in an upcoming Hollywood film due to her incredible freediving skills! Huge love to the gifted photographer and filmmaker @karoliinapaasonen for always bringing positive energy and a creative detailed eye to every shoot! 🎬✨ And not to forget Sandra’s talented, determined son who absolutely stole the show helping us get the perfect light while bravely balancing on the boat.
