Starting his residency next week is Lucas Lagomarsino @luquilagomarsino , an Argentinian choreographer and artist based in Amsterdam. Lucas recently graduated from SNDO (School for New Dance Development, 2025) and is currently part of the Master’s program in Art and Performance Research at the University of Amsterdam, where his writing engages with autotheory, negativity, and the tension between the non-conceptual, the literal, and dance. Trained in contemporary dance and theatre, he previously studied at the Drama School University in Buenos Aires. Since 2012, he has been performing while working across hybrid works, dance projects, and collaborations with local and international artists. His practice centers on modes of representation, unfolding a theatricality that hovers between the absurd and the romantic—at once hot and precarious. His compositional work opens through speculation and an ongoing inquiry into the transmission of information. Across his projects, he explores the collapse between dreams and dance archives as a way of surviving, or imagining. Workshop: dance or what else < danza o que > 30.05.26, 11 – 14h Bau Oost, Entrepotdok 4, Amsterdam sign up: bau.amsterdam Public Sharing: 19.06.26, 20h Bau Oost, Entrepotdok 4, Amsterdam Free entrance, book a ticket: bau.amsterdam

DANCE OR WHAT ELSE < danza o qué > WORKSHOP 30/05 / 11h to 14h at @bau_platform east ( donation based ! from 1 euro ) subscription link on my bio ## | the question at the end is only there to speculate on what other things, besides dancing, are danced when we make dance happen. what else opens up a space to think about possibilities in relation to self perceptions when we move, sensorially and kinetically and when theatricality starts to appear, placing questions about being seen | the workshop is composed of 💭 entry - restarting - intention - warm up practice - about the research dance - dance exit - accumulation of meaning - ending this meeting is for people with body/focus practices. it unfolds through a spatial structure where we put into movement the things we want to know, in order to see them. will be live music playing. 🗯️ the space on the picture is @nos.envera in buenos aires / 3d bodies background design < enzo luziano, rodolfo opazo ~~~~ my practice centers on modes of representation, unfolding a theatricality that hovers between the absurd and the romantic—at once hot and precarious. the compositional work opens through speculation and an ongoing inquiry into the transmission of information and my current writing engages with autotheory, negativity, and the tension between the non-conceptual, the literal, and dance. see you xx ✨

In the studio with Bau Air The Grey Space resident @diane.mahin “During the residency I am working on my new performance GASP, which I am developing together with instrument inventors initiative as part of the Nieuwe Makers Traject of the Fonds Podiumkunsten. GASP is a physical and vocal performance that starts from a simple premise: an inhalation. We see five figures inhaling in order to speak. Normally, an exhalation follows: a word, a sentence, a scream, an action. In GASP, however, the people evolve into figures in which every form of exhalation — including the voice — is withheld. They remain suspended in an unfinished impulse. Everything comes in, but nothing can come out. The entire performance becomes a build-up without release. What begins as an inability slowly shifts into another way of being. This turns the people into hybrid beings who continue to search relentlessly for movement within this new reality.”

THE THING, THE SECOND & THE FIST | research on residency / @bau_platform & @frascatiamsterdam 22.05.26 / 19.06.26 > public sharing Unfolds as an ongoing practice of staging a duet, not only with another human figure, but with something else; a fiction, a reggaeton, a sent nude, an impossible text and to work on the things between, as a way to loosen the immediacy between meaning and what is being seen. The what that would emerge after working through the how within the practice of the residency, Dancing through a crisis of fantasy, where the consumption of images exceeds their production, and what is seen becomes somewhat pasteurised, the work looks for openings, in-betweens, where the choreographic can displace itself and embody - out of? - the muchness. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨🫳🏻 Lucas Lagomarsino is an argentinean choreographer and artist based in Amsterdam. Starting her residency at Bau Oost today is Diane Mahin, welcome @diane.mahin ! Diane Mahín (b. 1993) is a Dutch-Iranian performance maker and sociologist. She makes performances in which sound and physicality are the driving forces. Diane scrutinizes the human body as a material object in order to dissect social constructions. Her works focus on bodysounds (guts, growls, cries, breaths) which she uses to create performative codes shaped by the learned behaviors of an unbearable society. She creates space for the ugliness and darkness of daily life without softening it, sometimes provoking laughter you did not see coming. She studied at Goldsmiths, University of London and Maastricht Institute of Performative Arts, and Sandberg Institute, and her works have been shown in visual arts, theater, and new music contexts. Public Sharing 29.05 20h Free Entrance, RSVP see link in bio 📸 Marjolein Vogels
