Ever been to prom before?? Scenes from my latest mix, available on YouTube and SoundCloud now! I started my YouTube just over 2 years ago, and this is my 10th released mix. Each mix has been a learning experience in both song choices and video editing. Each video gets more and more complex in how I put it together, so much so that I really do treat my YouTube mixes with the same care as when I release an original song. This mix is a bit of a throwback to my first mix “Downtempo to Disco”. Throughout this mix I push from a groovy 109bpm to a ravey 145bpm, all while bouncing between disco, global, and clubby tracks! 5.17.25 ♥️ It feels like a cliche to say “best day ever” after you’ve spent a year planning and thousands on a party, but it was. Um, hi, hello. Welcome to this explanation on how S&H hosted one of the most epic days I’ve photographed in a long time. Let’s begin: - First & most importantly: they were just in it for the bit. Literally nothing could bother them. Something went slightly wrong? Who cares. Laugh about it. - No wedding party or formal wedding party portraits. Just casual photos of them hanging out with their friends in the bar, walking across the street, piling into bunk beds, and getting ready. This also freed up a massive chunk of their timeline. - Dual officiants in the form of Sarah’s twin brothers. Was it a ceremony or stand up comedy act? Both. - Pizza for dinner. Cookies for dessert. Need I say more? - ~Ambience~ aka @hotelclermont for the getting ready & @mondaynightgarage for the party - A DJ who actually DJ’d instead of running the eye-roll inducing, regurgitated wedding playlist.
