Bilbao! Bath Bomb will have its Basque Premiere at the 32nd edition of FANTBilbao on May 9th! @fantbilbao is a Méliès Federation member festival (our ninth 🤯) with a strong focus on independent, alternative, and emerging directors. Director @colingcooper will be attending the festival in person & will likely make this his last circuit appearance for the foreseeable future as he shifts his time & attention toward another project (more on that to come), so if you’re in the Bilbao area, come watch Bath Bomb with us in the INTERNATIONAL SHORT FANT FILMS program! Victoria! Bath Bomb will have its Chilean Premiere at Fixion Fest tomorrow, April 23rd! @fixion_fest is Chile’s oldest genre film festival, taking place across 6 cities over the course of April & May! We’re honoured to be part of their limited North American selection this year! If you’re in the Victoria area, go see Bath Bomb in the CORTOS USA/CANADA II block! Admission is free!

Playing catch-up on a couple of announcements… First up: Bath Bomb returned to the Cineteatro São Luiz in Fortaleza, Brazil last Saturday (April 11th) where it screened as part of Sinistro Queer! Sinistro Queer is an offshoot of @sinistrofest which is the largest genre festival in Northern Brazil. Bath Bomb screened as part of the main festival back in October, and we were honoured to be back for this special Queer expansion! And also: Bath Bomb screens TONIGHT as part of HorrorHound’s Rewind Weekend! @horrorhound is one of the largest horror conventions in the United States, and Rewind Weekend is their annual online best-of showcase featuring highlighted projects from the year! Bath Bomb Dir. Colin G. Cooper Screened For @nightterrorsfilmfestival An award-winning twisted 10 min queer horror with a comedic edge and a Giallo soul. We follow Jordan (Anders Yates), a refined doctor with high standards, and his boyfriend, Grant (Daniel Henkel), a pathological narcissist with loose morals. This short is slick in every sense of the word. From the camera work, to the editing, sound design to the acting. Every element is well produced and makes for a visual feast. Instead of falling into the tropes of overly camp LGBTQIA+ horror, Bath Bomb relishes in elevating them. There are some fantastic character choices; to have one partner be a snooty gent with high standards plays so well against his narcassistic boyfriend. There's a real air of psychos past with the latter - Norman Bates and Patrick Bateman in particular. The satisfaction he gets in revenge is unrivalled and an absolute joy to behold. There is some fantastic practical effects here too, with prosthetics that have to be seen to be believed! I loved some of the artisitic choices too with a wonderful reflection of our killer showing in a blade being a particular standout moment. Eindhoven! Bath Bomb is screening at the 20th Anniversary of Playgrounds as part of Playgrounds International Film Festival! @weareplaygrounds is an institute & platform that showcases & celebrates the creative image in the fields of illustration, animation, film, games, and digital design! Their film festival screenings are just one part of a larger creative conference that will include artist talks with the likes of Josh Beveridge & Wendell Dalit (KPop Demon Hunters), Blur Studios (Love Death + Robots), Nathan Fowkes (How to Train Your Dragon), Pernille Ørum (HitGirl), and Claire Keane (Frozen)! Finally had a chance to stop by @walterklassenfxstudio to give them this cute lil award they won at @deadnorthernofficial for their work on the special effects props in Bath Bomb. Got to take a look at some of the awesome pieces they created for the Academy-Award-winning Costume & Production Design of Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. This was my favourite piece: The skull and armour of The Dark Angel in Victor’s dreams. Still kinda blows my mind that we had such talented folks working on our little short film 🤯🖤 Many thanks to the Klassen team members who helped bring our twisted vision to life: Taku Dazai Adrian Burnett Brad Cunningham Meaghan Lynch Krysztof Kowolik Billy Petelka Fun fact: This isn’t our only connection to Frankenstein. Actor @andersyates lent his Nordic good looks to the role of Torfussen; part of the Royal Danish Navy crew of the Horisont in the film’s incredible prelude!

Panama City! Bath Bomb will have its Panamanian Premiere at Panama Horror Film Fest this Saturday, March 14th! @panamahorrorfilmfest is Panama’s first & only horror film festival, featuring 4 days of film screenings, art exhibitions, concerts, stand-up comedy, and more! Their international programming celebrates all types of horror & dark fantasy, with a special emphasis on independent cinema! Eau Claire! Bath Bomb will have its Wisconsin Premiere at the 18th edition of A Night of Horror International Film Festival tonight at 10pm! Formerly Australia’s longest-running genre film festival, A Night of Horror moved from Sydney to Eau Claire in 2024, where it joined forces with MidWest WeirdFest to continue showcasing the latest & greatest genre films from around the world! The event has been recognized as one of the best genre festivals on the circuit by the likes of Dread Central, Fangoria, and People! Bath Bomb will be screening with the new feature adaptation of legendary Argentine Netflix animated series La Frecuencia Kirlian! If you’re in the Eau Claire area, go check it out! New Bedford! Bath Bomb will have its Massachusetts Premiere at the 2026 New Bedford Film Festival on April 11th! Currently in its 3rd year, @nbfilmfest is a young festival quickly building a reputation amongst filmmakers for its warm, community-focused atmosphere. Their international programming includes films from over a dozen countries that have screened at prominent festivals around the world. Prestigious Oscar qualifiers like Kortfilm Leuven, genre giants like Fantasia, and indie staples like Dances with Films all share programming with this cozy coastal cutie :) Director @colingcooper will be attending the festival in person, so if you’re in the New Bedford area, come say hi! Goa! Bath Bomb will have its Indian Premiere at the third edition of Erotic Edge Film Festival this Sunday, March 1st!
 Organized by @kinkycollective Erotic Edge is part of their mission to spread healthy awareness about kink, fetish, queerness, and sex positivity across India! Due to the nature of the selected films (and local obscenity laws) this is not a public event, but interested community members can find a registration link in the @kinkycollective bio!

Winston-Salem! Bath Bomb is screening at the 5th edition of Queer Fear Film Festival on February 21st! @queerfearfilmfestival is the South’s only queer horror film festival! Their spooky programming embraces the full spectrum of queer identity. Gays lost in the woods? Got ‘em. Seductive lesbian vampires? Yes, please. Trans Final Girls? Slay. Experimental animation that speaks to the asexual experience? They’re here for it.
