Yesterday the Bath Bespoke team swapped bandsaws and chisels for spades, heading outdoors for a day of volunteering with @avonneedstrees .
They’re creating new, permanent woodland across the West of England, helping tackle the climate crisis while opening up green space for local communities.
Getting your hands dirty and giving something back feels pretty good.

Dramatic Entrance. A look back at some of the doors that we have made and photographed this year. From period properties with very fine glazing bars to contemporary, reeded oak doors and a huge, 3m x 3m sliding door. Transforming spaces. We love how careful, considered design can totally change the look and feel of a room. Today we’re looking back at the metamorphosis of our Somerset House project. The double doors from the pantry to the kitchen have made such a difference and brought a symmetry to the flow of the rooms. Dressing room details. We’re on-site this week, installing this incredible dressing room in an old Manor House. The doors are made of solid, American Black crown-cut Walnut with square-edged reeding detail. They’re finished in a VOC-free oil and fitted with @brascote_and_co hardware.
This is part of our latest project working alongside @rebecca.robertsdesign . Next week we’re installing another dressing room, wardrobe and bookcase before moving downstairs. Here we are installing two studies, and furniture in the living room. We are also laying herringbone flooring on the lower ground floor and restoring the oak plank flooring on the ground floor.
We can’t wait to bring you more photos over the coming weeks as this majestic property is restored.

Somerset Idyll. Here’s a look back at one of our favourite shoots of 2025. We’ve worked with the owners of this elegant family home since 2018. One of our largest projects at the property was the beautiful orangery, built in 2023. Working in collaboration with architects, @mitchelleleygould we made the roof lantern, wooden bi-fold doors and bespoke windows. Inside, we installed herringbone European Oak flooring and a bespoke dining table. We love how the house flows beautifully from the pantry to the kitchen to this light-filled entertaining space. There are so many beautiful details here, inside and out. From the @fromtheanvil ironmongery, gorgeous design details by @interiorsbyleomaharper and surrounded by a stunning garden, designed by @pollyanna_wilkinson .

It has been lovely to be back at this handsome home on the outskirts of Bath. We helped to design, make and install new windows and doors, some 60 in total! We ensured our design, with low profile sections and delicate mouldings, was sympathetic to the architecture and period of this beautiful property.
All the windows and doors now have a consistent, cohesive look. The windows are all double glazed with our Bath Bespoke Conservation system. The glass is puttied in, exactly as it would have been 200 years ago.
The windows and doors are all made from @accoyawood , painted in @farrowandball ’s Wimborne White and fitted with beautiful handles and latches from @fromtheanvil .

Refined beauty. This Grade II Listed property, on the outskirts of Bath, has undergone a substantial renovation in recent years. We were brought in to make several external and internal doors and frames. They’re made in European oak with some exquisite details - fine sections and bespoke mouldings - perfectly in keeping with the property. The doors are fitted with beautiful hardware from @armacmartin@fromtheanvil and @dauby_nv

The distinctive Douglas Fir grain can be found throughout our new-build project in Liverpool. From stylish bathroom units, to the dramatic fitted bedroom furniture. From the incredible scale of the kitchen units and island to the beautiful internal doors, stairs and kitchen ceiling. Overall, it creates such a cohesive, calm space - it may look simple but was technically difficult to achieve - just the kind of challenge that we love!

One of the most striking features of our Liverpool project is the wall of glass across the rear of the property. The sheer scale of the joinery here was quite a challenge - the sliding door is 3m by 3m! In order to achieve the desired size and simplicity we had to re-invent traditional door construction - doors don’t normally exceed 2m high for a reason! We made the door and the glass screen frames using @accoyawood - we love using this timber for its stability and durability.
