Peter Blake’s Brillig Gallery exhibition poster is a highlight of the current exhibition The Medium is the Message - an archive collection of screen printed posters from 1977-83. Bath Community Printshop inhabited various spaces in and around Walcot Street (our location) and produced posters for everything from punk gigs, street theatre and club nights to CND rallies and women’s marches. Alongside these, we’re showing an excellent selection of contemporary responses from @bathspauni illustration students – highlighting the new (and not so new) issues concerning us today. The Medium is the Message, part of @bath_fringe 9th May – 27th June 2026 at Palette #Palette #PaletteGallery #Bathprintshop #screenprint #1970s

I’m going to perform my solo performance written and played by me in Bath Fringe Festival on May 23rd. This performance is about a woman standing between departure and arrival. In this intimate solo performance, memory becomes physical and language begins to shift. Through a series of fragmented episodes, she navigates the emotional terrain of leaving home and rebuilding a sense of self in unfamiliar ground. Minimal in form and driven by presence, this piece explores what it means to begin again; when home is no longer a place, but a state of becoming. The performance will start at 7:00 PM but the door would be open since 6:40 PM. Performance duration will be 45 minutes. 🎟️you can find the link for getting the tickets in my Bio. I would love to see you there✨

You know you’re clever, funny, inciteful, erudite, free thinking, ecologically minded, politically sound, ethically correct and more besides. But how will everyone else know? Here’s how… /rondotheatre/t-dkkpmvk

just a week to go until New Zealand post punk four piece @_ringlets come across to Bath @roseberryroadstudios . they will be joined by southwests finest’s @bludud______ and @1000legs . tickets are £12 general or £7 low income available in bio. this event is an official warm up to @bath_fringe . visuals provided by @lillie_cat7 wednesday 20th may, 7:30pm roseberry road studios, bath, ba2 3dx @_ringlets Fresh off a run of packed festival shows and a new album The Lord Is My German Shepherd (Time for Walkies) out this June via Flying Nun Records, Ringlets are fast becoming one of Aotearoa’s most exciting exports. Press love from Rolling Stone, Brooklyn Vegan, and Post-Punk.com - plus #1 on the NZ Alternative Charts. The band emerged from the humid, slow-traffic swamps of Auckland, NZ. They write songs for the sport; live shows have been likened to watching the 400m hurdles. The hurdles are positioned and weighted so that they fall forward if bumped into with sufficient force, to prevent injury to the band members. @bludud______ South-west 4-piece Bludud make songs in a shed. Drawing on the art rock of Radiohead, the Chicago post-rock scene & the DIY spirit of Copenhagen’s guitar driven alt-indie sound, their songs are shaped by whichever instruments the fluid quartet picked up that day. Bludud’s sound is (probably) folk-rock - underpinned by the electric guitar, linear drumming, half-spoken, half-sung lyrics - though sometimes there are flutes, bowed bass and violins. They have been playing tunes from their forthcoming debut record (recorded at Humm Studios, January 2026) around Bristol for much of 2025 @1000legs 1000 legs: bristol bug punk #livemusicbath #bathmusicscene #bathsomerset

Hey guys! I still can’t believe this is real, but it’s happening - my work is going to be shown at the Bath Fringe Arts Festival 2026 from 23 May - 6 June at the Newark Works building in Bath!!! I’ll be exhibiting under the category Permission to Touch - “For The Child You Still Are”, which feels incredibly special to share. I won’t be able to make it to the opening evening, but you’re all more than welcome to come by and see it. Your support would mean the world to me! I’m honestly so excited for this. Love you all 🫶🏻
