Gościnnie zagra także k.o., znakomita i dobrze znana Djka, której set w niższym tempie pokaże inne oblicze „atmo”. 💫Nie zabraknie też świeżej krwi. Honestly… no one really expected this – not even us. 😇 For our birthday edition, we set ourselves a goal: to connect with as many styles as possible that have passed through BassTrip over the years, and to make sure everyone gets the kind of music that pulls them straight to the dancefloor. This slot was meant to be pure, high-energy drum & bass - and that’s exactly what it will be. Rolling, old-school vibes delivered by an unquestionable legend of the genre. On September 13th at Dom Technika, DJ Optical will take us 20–30 years back in time with his set. 🔥⏪🔥 Matthew Quinn aka Optical is a true pioneer of techstep and neurofunk, co-founder of the legendary Virus Recordings label, and creator of classics that forever changed the face of electronic music. His debut single for Metalheadz, “To Shape the Future” / “Raging Calm” (1997), and the cult album “Wormhole” with Ed Rush (1998) are absolute milestones in drum & bass history, still setting the standard for producers worldwide to this day. At our party, you’ll hear a very special classics set 👌 packed with timeless gems that shaped entire generations of drum & bass fans. A treat for the old-school heads who lived through the golden era of techstep and neurofunk, as well as for the new wave of listeners discovering the roots of the sound. 🖤

Headliner announcement 2 of 3 👊 These birthday and new club season celebrations wouldn’t be complete without at least one multi-tempo/multi-genre set – and who better to deliver it than Fixate – in our opinion, one of the most exciting producers and DJs on the scene today, precisely because of his diversity! Declan Curran, known as Fixate, belongs to a generation that refuses to be locked into a single genre. A true child of UK musical innovation, his productions and sound palette move freely across styles such as drum & bass, jungle, dubstep, UKG, footwork and grime. His debut release “Pum Pum” / “System Malfunction” on Diffrent Music immediately caught the attention of key figures in the electronic music world thanks to its unconventional rhythms and clever fusion of multiple genres. Support came from DJs as diverse as Toddla T, Sam Binga, Alix Perez and dBridge - the latter went on to release two of Fixate’s collaborations with Manchester’s Chimpo (“Bun It” and “Dumb”) on Chimpo’s “Out An Bad” EP. After the success of these first tracks, Fixate was invited to write his first solo EP for Exit Records, dBridge’s highly respected, taste-making label. The “Throwback Therapy” EP, released in May 2015 with its four tracks showcasing his wide-ranging influences and artistic flair was well received. From then on, through Exit and beyond, Fixate continued to deliver nothing but fire - including the six-track mini-album “What Goes Around” in 2017, the excellent “Fixate” LP in 2022, and the “Conundrum” EP in 2024. And there’s even more, like the “Anticipate” EP on Pineapple Records (Sam Binga’s label). 👀And up next - headliner announcement 3! :) Hint: it’s going to be drum & bass!

As we’re getting very close to the event, here’s the first (out of three!) headliner reveal! 😎 We’re starting off with Law, a fantastic producer, DJ, and the founder of Repertoire – without a doubt one of our absolute favorite jungle labels! We’re beyond excited to have Ricky on board and we’re certain his set will satisfy every serious jungle (and not only jungle!) enthusiast! 🫡 With over 20 years behind the decks, Law has gained a reputation on the underground circuit for his precision mixing and broad selection. Law’s breakbeat-driven sounds has seen him play at some of London’s most renowned venues including Ministry of Sound, Corsica Studios and Scala. He has regularly supported promotions as diverse as Drum & Bass Arena, Rupture and Essence of Chi. Repertoire has gone from strength-to-strength, becoming one of the mainstays of the jungle revival. Releases from artists have included Tim Reaper, Mantra, Ricky Force, Dead Man’s Chest, Djinn, DJ Sofa, and Shiken Hanzo. As well as DJing across the UK, Law has established himself as a prolific producer in recent years, delivering a steady stream of releases on Over/Shadow, Rupture LDN, Western Lore, Foxy Jangle, AKO Beatz, and more — alongside his own labels Repertoire and sister imprint R-WHITES. He’s also made his mark with remixes for cutting-edge artists such as UVB-76’s Overlook, jungle pioneers Foul Play, and Blu Mar Ten

Będzie eklektycznie, tanecznie i z jajem, raczej bez „standardowego” drum and basowego rolowanka. Stawiamy na różnorodność i vibe w sam raz na późną wiosnę/wczesne lato! 🌞 W programie także chodnikowy warmup na scenie na zewnątrz Domu Technika, gdzie zaczniemy lokalnie od atmo jungli i dnb. Podczas naszej imprezy nieco zupgrejdowany zewnętrzny sound system będzie miał swój debiut, więc będzie nie tylko miło ze względu na czilową muzę, ale też ładne brzmienie 😎 💥Później przeniesiemy się na dół, gdzie nasi goście specjalni zaserwują nam wyżej wspomniany eklektyczny vibe, choć każdy z nich zrobi to w swoim stylu! A kim właściwie są nasi goście specjalni? 🔊 DRUMSKULL (UK) – wielogatunkowy producent i doświadczony DJ z Londynu. Solowo wydawał między innymi u Sherelle i Nainy na Hooversound, a przy okazji innych releasów, jego numery remiksowali m.in. Lone, Coco Bryce, Dwarde, czy panowie z Club Glow (którzy swoją drogą gościli niedawno w Poznaniu na urodzinach DrumObsession). A co gra jako DJ? Wyróżnia się wszechstronnością, co idealnie zgrywa się koncepcją tej edycji BT! Jego sety to podróże od głębokiego UK garage’u, przez jungle, po footwork. 🔊 WE ROB RAVE (PL) – czyli pochodzący z Helu PZG & Dubsknit, dwóch obecnych od wielu lat na naszej rodzimej scenie producentów, którzy po 10 latach wspólnej twórczości postanowili skupić się na mieszaniu oldschoolowych sampli sceny rave, melodyjnych pianinek z futurystycznym brzmieniem footworku, łamanymi na wszelkie sposoby amen breakami i przesterowanymi basami. Albumy i EP-ki “We Rob Rave” wychodzą od 2014 roku, a tych „numerowanych” albumów jest już 10! 15 listopada stawiamy na nową szkołę jungle, a jako headlinera 18. edycji BassTrip zaprosiliśmy Nectaxa, który przyjeżdża do nas z Newcastle. 👊 Najgłośniej zrobiło się o nim w zeszłym roku za sprawą bangera “Voychek” z EP o tym samym tytule, wydanej na prestiżowym labelu Over/Shadow, będącym duchową kontynuacją legendarnego Moving Shadow. Numer ten jest grany w junglowych setach wszędzie, w tym przez takie wpływowe nazwiska jak LTJ Bukem, DJ Flight czy Tim Reaper. Dzięki temu Nectax doczekał się również dobrze przyjętych releasów na labelach play:musik oraz Future Retro London. W rodzinnym Newcastle współtworzy zaś label i klub STEREO 45, którego celem jest promowanie nowoczesnej kultury jungle. Wysiłek ten został zauważony i doceniony przez Mixmag, DJ Mag oraz Boiler Room. Choć tempo w okolicach 160 bpm przyniosło mu rozgłos, jako producent i DJ nie trzyma się go kurczowo i stawia na różnorodność. 💖Już 26 października wracamy do Was po dłuższej przerwie z drugą edycją BassTrip Atmo, czyli kolejną porcją „atmospheric” jungle i drum and bass w przytulnej przestrzeni w_sercu!💖 ✨Tego wieczoru zanurzymy się głównie w nostalgicznym vibie lat 90, wczesnych 00 z katalogów takich wytwórni jak Good Looking Records, ale będziecie mieli okazję usłyszeć również nowoczesne perełki w stylu intelligent dnb, klimatycznego jungle i wyrafinowanego liquidu, w różnobarwnej, sonicznej palecie i tempach od 170 bpm w dół. Stawiamy na lekkość, emocje i storytelling. ✨ W tym celu zaprosiliśmy doświadczonych artystów, którzy doskonale wiedzą jak budować atmosferę i swoją selekcją potrafią poruszyć nawet najbardziej wymagające dusze. Z wielką radością witamy: Alegrię, Pantona oraz Patocką, których wspierać będzie BassTrip crew! 🍷 Tym razem startujemy odrobinę później bo o 21:00, a kończymy o 04:00 – w sam raz, aby muzycznie nasycić się pozytywną energią i jednocześnie nie przemęczyć.
