A Dream Called Sardinia @hotelsugologone@basso2012 & I set out to create something nostalgic.
A version of Sardinia that lives somewhere between the 1950s and the 1980s. Old records, timeless music, slower moments.
A trip you can take today, that feels like it belongs to another time.
At the heart of the trip is @hotelsugologone .
Not just a hotel, but a handcrafted Sardinian world in the mountains. Full of colour, texture, and heritage in every detail.
Quiet, raw, and beautifully imperfect.
30 minutes away is the coastline. Cliffs, caves, hidden beaches, and some of the clearest water you’ll ever see.
Two completely different worlds, somehow part of the same story.
This trip has been five years in the making!
I met Angelo back in 2021, and has since become one of my best mates in Dubai. He’s a filmmaker from Sardinia and every summer the invite has been there but the trip hasn’t been possible. This year, we finally made it happen.
A huge thank you to the team at @hotelsugologone for bringing this to life. From the set design to the smallest details, everything you see here was real.

This time, I set an intention to capture Tokyo’s essence & soul during the afterglow, when the streets breathe and the city truly comes to life, combining with the @djiglobal RS5, through the balance of stillness & fluid motion, I hope this film allows you to feel that moment.
