Mixing and dancing to drum and bass are healing for me (even when I’m freaking nervous before every gig, lol). For a moment, the world stands still, no matter what else is happening in life and regardless of all the ups and downs. There is nothing else that lets me feel the present moment and forget everything around me like this kind of music. What makes it even more special are the incredibly kind and supportive people that this scene brings with it.
