I am still of the opinion that, even if you weren't raised properly, you're an adult now you have mixed with people ...learn from them at least. #kenya #áfrica #godfirst

Your Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, CGH President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces William Ruto Your Excellency, Allow me first to introduce myself. Yes, I am a small person if I may say, just a villager with nothing much to offer. However, at least we have something in common: I am also a farmer. I keep a few chickens, just as you did years ago. One day, I hope my small farm will grow bigger, just like yours did. So, in that spirit of shared farming dreams, I gather the courage to write to you. That said, I write to you humbly requesting and I know this is possible because you are the Chief of kupanga — that the recent events in our country, which are beginning to scare many of us, be handled with utmost care. Majority of the people, including my grandmother (whose instincts are rarely wrong), are warning me to leave the city because they fear the upcoming elections may be marred by worse violence than 2007. Personally, I believe this should not and must not happen. As much as my grandmother’s predictions are usually correct, this time I pray she is wrong. I urge you, Daktari, to do all it takes to ensure that not even a single person sheds blood. Not one. I know you can make it happen and still win the elections. If there is anyone thinking you will lose, he is totally dreaming so you can rest assured you will still serve. And even if you have to serve ten more years, so be it but assure us that no Kenyan will die because of politics. That is the only victory that truly matters. Send a clear message to our neighbors and to Africa: we are brothers and sisters; we can watch each other compete without destroying each other. Kenya must remain a country where democracy does not come with funerals. Your Excellency, this is just a humble villager and small-scale chicken farmer speaking — with satire perhaps, but with genuine concern. Kila Kheri. #kenya #peace

“Africa Will Be Free” I will not lie — the last few nights have been difficult. For the first time, I slept with the lights on, gripped by fear. How did we allow this to happen — in Tanzania, of all places? At least in Kenya, maybe we’ve grown numb to chaos. But I remember the sweet streets of Dodoma and Dar, where night air smelled of food and laughter — a special nation that now bleeds and stinks of sorrow. Did God forget us? Africa is bleeding — Sudan, Congo, name it. And yet, somewhere in the blood and dust, hope still whispers: One day we will be free. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But one day — our brothers’ and sisters’ blood will not have been shed in vain. #africa

Before you judge me, hear me out. And please, don’t crucify me like they did Jesus — I don’t even have disciples, just followers on WiFi. If I were President of Kenya, my first Executive Order? Close the churches. Yes, I said it. Close them, lock them, and maybe turn a few into libraries — at least people might start reading again! You see, once upon a time, the church was the moral compass. Now? It's more of a GPS stuck on “Route to Riches.” Remember Charles Njoya? Spoke and walked truth to power. Today’s clergy? Power speaks to them… Big suits, big cars, big churches… small hearts. Meanwhile, the congregation is fasting — not for spiritual reasons, but because the economy is eating them alive. I grew up believing the church would protect us. Now? It’s watching silently as the youth are slaughtered like chickens — and not even for Sunday lunch. They’re busy pretending nothing happened, probably waiting for the next fundraiser. At this point, Judgment Day might be less about sinners and more like a church leaders’ AGM. And let’s be honest — if the church and the government were competing for “Who failed Kenyans better?” It would end in a photo finish. God is watching… and probably shaking His Head. #happysunday #kenya #love

Boldness. I have no reason to doubt that President Ruto will serve another term—regardless of what the ballot boxes say. Elections? Mere f ormalities. Just well-funded public opinion surveys with tear gas and a soundtrack of reggae democracy. You know what I mean. But while the system is busy perfecting the art of winning without majority, there’s a small but growing glitch in the matrix—enter the Gen Zs, aka Akina Njeri na Watu wa WiFi. These kids are not your average "tulia ndugu yangu" generation. No. They are organized, online, and outrageously allergic to nonsense. Where the old guard waited for permission, Gen Z is live on internet shouting, “Hatutaki!” Where we queued for sugar, they’re storming X (formerly Twitter) with digital pitchforks. They’re not asking for change—they’re demanding it, loudly, in street slang and three camera angles. A pain in the ass? Oh, absolutely. A beautifully necessary one. The kind of discomfort that wakes a sleeping democracy and gives dictators indigestion. As for how the government plans to handle this new-age revolution? Well, that's a story for another day. For now, they’re busy pretending TikTok isn’t a political platform and Gen Z isn’t planning a digital coup during lunch n break. #kenya

The 2027 elections won't be business as usual. Why? Because the Presidency isn't just facing the usual voter base. He’s facing Kibaki’s children — the generation raised on free education, cheap internet, and open access to information. These are not your typical youth chasing white-collar jobs, perfumes, or flashy lifestyles the likes of....No — this generation reads Finance Bills, follows court rulings, questions policy, and understands governance. They know that power doesn’t just lie in the State House — it lies in the budget, the law, the system. They don’t just vote — they ask why they should vote for you. They demand receipts. Compare that to a past generation that believed success was a degree, a job, and a car. Some had Masters degrees but couldn’t tell you what a supplementary budget is. They feared poverty. Today’s youth fear bad governance — and marriage more than God. The game has changed. In 2027, memes will matter more than manifestos. Empty promises won’t trend. Tribal loyalty won’t save you. You’ll need clarity, honesty, and strategy — or face a digital army that sees right through you. #madarakaday #1stjune #kenya #africa
