Alaska has been on my list for a long time and it did not disappoint. Aboard the Renewed Celebrity Solstice, we visited Icy Strait, Juneau, and Ketchikan and every single stop was nothing short of stunning. Bald eagles were just everywhere, helicopter ride out to Mendenhall Glacier was a different thing entirely, landing on ice that has been there for thousands of years. Then coming back to the ship and stepping out onto the balcony to see glaciers and mountains filling every corner of the view was something I am still processing.

Madeira still one of my favourite places I’ve ever been. Volcanic peaks, ancient forests, cliffs falling straight into the Atlantic. You can hike through clouds in the morning and watch the sun set over the ocean by evening. One island that somehow has it all!

Island life just hits different when you are having fun on Celebrity Cruises. Celebrity Beyond took us beyond the ordinary and straight into paradise.
