Founded in San Francisco in 1958, Sundek was among the first brands to shape surfwear, becoming one of the key players in the emerging Californian surf culture. Not simply technical apparel, but a true symbol of a lifestyle: freedom, counterculture, music, a rebellious spirit, and community. In the 1960s, the brand expanded from the California coast to Hawaii and then along the East Coast, accompanying — and often anticipating — the evolution of surfing as a cultural reference. 1972 marked an iconic moment with the creation of the Rainbow Boardshorts: quick-dry nylon, seamless, and the unmistakable rainbow on the back. A garment that transcended beachwear to become a distinctive sign of identity, style, and belonging to surf culture.
The acquisition of Sundek allows BasicNet S.p.A. to enrich its portfolio with another brand of great history that perfectly fits within the Group, covering a category—beachwear—that is currently not represented. Sundek is a brand that seemingly reflects the qualities required to become part of the Group: history, iconicity, color, and strong recognizability.

@KWay_official announces @ScottyJames31 as its new Brand Ambassador.
K-Way has named Scotty James, one of the most talented and renowned Australian snowboarders on the international scene, as its new brand ambassador. James is a two-time Olympic halfpipe medallist, four-time world champion in the same discipline, and seven-time X Games gold medallist.
With this partnership, K-Way — already well established in the world of skiing — strengthens its connection to snow sports by expanding into snowboarding as well. For the 25/26 winter season, a special K-Way x Scotty James capsule collection will also be launched: a limited-edition line co-developed with the athlete, featuring a jacket, pants, vest, and neck warmer.

@Kappa and @legab present the Red Ball with the campaign “…Not Even with a Flower”
Once again this year, Lega Serie B and Kappa renew their commitment to raising awareness across all sports communities by presenting the Red Ball— a special edition of the official Serie BKT match ball created for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, observed on November 25.
The campaign will be accompanied by numerous initiatives in the stadiums.
Among the most significant is an artwork that will take the field: the “Alberto Picco” Stadium will host a floral installation created by @ballondflor , a women-driven company based in Los Angeles specializing in soccer-themed floral designs. This project aligns perfectly with the “…Nemmeno con un Fiore” (‘...Not even with a Flower”) campaign and its central message.

Founded in 1830 by John Rich in Pennsylvania, Woolrich is one of the oldest American producers of wool fabrics and outdoor clothing. The company was created to provide durable and functional garments for hunters, lumberjacks and railway workers, protecting them from the harsh winters of the Northeastern United States. In 1850, Woolrich introduced the famous Buffalo Check pattern, the unmistakable red-and-black check that became an icon of rustic, authentic style. In 1940, responding to the needs of workers building oil pipelines in Alaska, the Arctic Parka was born—designed to withstand extreme temperatures and destined to become an iconic winter garment worldwide.
With this acquisition, BasicNet adds to its portfolio a brand with a strong heritage, fully aligned with the Group’s values: authenticity, iconicity and cultural impact.
