“Residual Artifacts” a the continuation of my previous show “Residual Reveries”. It is creating without pre-concieved outcome in mind, art for exploratoratories sake.
It is seeing the work we are making as a purely experimental act (leaving much up to chance): and the feelings captured during the process. The creative act.
“I believe that sketching is the most human act - a deliberate pause emits the busyness of living. It invites us to observe, to feel, and to honour what passes by unseen. In every sketch, we capture an echo of that moment – not frozen, but alive, continuing to live long after we expire.”
“Art to me is a work in progress, and I create my best work when I see the pieces I am working on as creative experiments. If you believe there is no right or wrong answer, that the art we create is not good or bad, that there are no stakes, that’s when we thrive in what we make. The act of letting go, and giving into play. That’s what really matters”
