After two years of doing fantastic film festivals all over the world and winning some lovely awards, the short film is finally being released into the wild. It remains one of my favourite things we’ve done, and I’m delighted to be able to share it with everyone.
We shot two unbroken 12 minute takes connected by a real phone call, with two camera crews. It was a brilliant and silly idea, and I’m so pleased it paid off.
Give it a watch, share it around, do whatever you please. You don’t even need to tell me you’ve watched it! You do you.
So grateful to the many many people who worked on it, and so grateful to have been able to go on the journey of this short.

We’ve written an audio drama. You can find it on Audible, under GNR8 Series 6, Chapter 3. It’s about forgetting and remembering, poetry and gin. It’s set in Norfolk.
@gleesoc and I had the pleasure of writing a pilot episode of a supernatural drama for Audible in the summer, and had the great honour of working with six incredibly talented students from LAMDA, directed by the amazing @emilylingwilliams

Robin’s suffering from headaches, seemingly brought on by an exercise book they found in their home, full of poems written by ‘Arthur Ashton’. The problem is: Arthur Ashton doesn’t exist. When a terrible headache makes them collapse at work, Robin sets off to solve the mystery of the missing writer once and for all. Their quest leads them back to California in Norfolk, their hometown, where they meet several old acquaintances that Robin has done their best to forget. But underneath the familiar surroundings lurk disturbing truths Robin might not be ready to confront…
Did a very fun scene with a custard-covered shoe for Odd Squad UK. Delighted to say gadzooks on TV, distraught my red shoeboxes were turned into trifle. Out now on BBC iPlayer (Season 5, Episode 3)!
