After perfecting his technique for lowrider patterning on skateboards, he turned his flake skills to a larger canvas - the Caprice (affectionately nicknamed #craprice )

No April Fools here! A couple weeks back @matt64rag took me out in his Impala for the first cruise of 2026, a lil prep before my wedding for which Matt (a best man alongside @basicallybains ) had offered the vert as the wedding car. Not long into the trip the passenger side half shaft decided it would be fun to snap right at the hub in the middle of busy roadworks. Brakes failing, it slid around 100m on the trailing arm. Luckily a road worker at the scene totally reorganised the traffic around us and a few hours later a tilt bed arrived, dragged the six-fo aboard and took it home. If youâre here for Lowriding at its worst, you deserve Lowriding at its best. Big props to all involved, @rockauto_llc got the parts to the uk in time and Matt fitted them ready for the best day of my life. The @laynplay_uk UK Lowrider night was pretty damn good, the Caprice won best in show.
Was nice to have it there and win even if it broke, even if the engine sounded like a bag of spannerâs and pissed oil everywhere.
Onwards and upwards to getting it back on the road and doing what I shouldâve originally. Get someone I trust to help and put a diesel in it.
