I have successfully completed the UN award winning leadership program, #parliamentors. I am honoured to have had the opportunity to represent @covuni along with 4 other vibrant young leaders. The experience was surreal, it was an excellent introduction to the multifaceted world of regional and international politics. I gained a great set of leadership skills, working with people who has similar goals and aspirations is always a great learning and educational experience. Our newly elected President @tochukwuajare , Dr Diane Phimister, Reene Chauhan and other friends were too kind to join us for our graduation at the House of Commons. Huge thank you to everyone who have helped us throughout the delivery of of our Social Action Project #MindATLAS, it wouldn’t have been possible without you, thank you!

I am proud to announce that I have been awarded the “Student of The Year 2019” award at @covuni . Thank you #CoventryUniversity @coventry_su for providing me with a platform to achieve my goals, express my views and make as little impact as I can to the lives of my fellow students and peers.
I could only dream about this just a few years ago during my high school, there was a time when I almost gave up on going to school because I could not speak English. I couldn’t understand a word of what I was taught, a friend of mine used to translate for me and the only wish I had at that time, was to learn English and to be able to go to University. After seven/eight years today, I have achieved a first-class degree in #Engineering @covuni_eec , currently studying towards my master and now received the student of the year award. It just feels like a dream, a dream that I never thought would come true. I have not done anything extraordinary but, I never stopped believing in myself and I never stopped fighting towards achieving my goals.
I don’t think I could make it this far without the support and prayers of my parents and family, the hard-work of my teacher and lecturers (from high school to sixth-form and university) and the assistance and guidance of my mentors and friends along the way.
I heartily thank you all for supporting me, believing in me and guiding me towards the right path. It would have not been possible without you! It has been an exceptional and amazing learning experience which will never be forgotten, a special thank to everyone who nominated me and considered me worthy of this prestigious award.
