Przed Wami Aleksander Baszynski @bashinsky.sasha - artysta wizualny, absolwent Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Kijowie oraz Akademii Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu. Zajmuje się głównie malarstwem.
Laureat głównej nagrody w 3. edycji Ogólnopolskiego Studenckiego Konkursu Malarskiego im. Wojciecha Fangora w Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku (2020). W 2024 roku nominowany do nagrody artystycznej WARTO. Mieszka i tworzy we Wrocławiu.

Meet the artists of the 24th SURVIVAL! 🫀
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing the artists whose works will take over the former Department of Psychiatry and Neurology of the Wrocław Medical University at 44 Bujwida Street between June 26–30.
Aleksander Baszynski - visual artist, graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture and The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw. Primarily focused on painting.
Winner of the Grand Prize in the 3rd edition of the Wojciech Fangor National Student Painting Competition at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (2020). In 2024, nominated for the WARTO Artistic Award. Lives and works in Wrocław.

Once crowned by an idealized dream of warmth — at night, melting into the darkness of illusions.

The wind of change is born in silence. In the heart of the storm, it spares nothing that has ceased to live. A new context shakes the old dogma of being, sending roots deeper into the soil. .
I felt no heat of the burning palm upon me,
but after returning, melancholic childhood memories settled into a new context of disappointment.
The sun-scorched summer day transformed into a night suffocating in bronze.
