This is the first hint of Alpinaâs future since BMW acquired the tuning house four years ago. We wonât see production Alpina until next year, but the 4-passenger Vision concept is stunning in personâ a pointy sharknose sans cartoonishly proportioned nostrils, surprisingly expansive rear overhang, and great proportions made even better by just-so creases and angles. Well done Alpina, looks like youâre going to fill that white space between BMW and Rolls-Royce with the distinction it deserves.

Moments matter more on film.
The JPEG count on my phone is over six figures, but when we stop for a celluloid photo something special happensâwe pay more attention. Thereâs no Live Mode to lose the blink, no endless shutter snaps to suss out the gems later. That microsecond when light hits emulsion becomes all that matters, if only for a moment.
